"Find me cards equivalent to: Narset of the Ancient Way Emblem"

There are very few emblems with similar effects. Narset of the Ancient Way does not actually create an emblem with that text; it is likely confused with Chandra, Awakened Inferno or Chandra, Torch of Defiance but neither has an emblem that exactly matches.

Closest equivalents with the same color (U/R/W; Jeskai) and type of effect (noncreature spell triggers, damage):

  • Chandra, Awakened Inferno (emblem: deals 1 damage to you at upkeep, not spell-cast based)
  • Ral, Storm Conduit (whenever you cast or copy an instant or sorcery, Ral deals 1 damage to target opponent or planeswalker — similar trigger, not an emblem)
  • Saheeli, Sublime Artificer (whenever you cast a noncreature spell, create a 1/1 Servo, not damage)
  • Chandra, Pyromaster (emblem: whenever you cast a spell, this deals 3 damage to any target; emblem color identity is red)

Summary: There is no emblem that does exactly what you described, but Ral, Storm Conduit and Chandra, Pyromaster have similar triggered abilities.

    Rules

  • A player may have more than one of Chandra's emblems. Each one's ability triggers separately.
  • A spell or ability that counters spells can still target Chandra. When that spell or ability resolves, Chandra won't be countered, but any additional effects of that spell or ability will still happen.
  • Emblems aren't permanents and can't be exiled or destroyed. Once you have an emblem, there's no way to remove it.
  • If Chandra's last ability doesn't deal damage (most likely because the damage has been prevented in some way), the target won't be exiled if it would die.
  • If you leave a multiplayer game, your opponents keep any emblems Chandra gave them. Each opponent owns the emblem Chandra gives them. In multiplayer, your opponents continue to burn after you and Chandra leave the game.
  • In a Two-Headed Giant game, Chandra's first ability grants an emblem to each opponent. The opposing team will be dealt 1 damage twice during their upkeep.
  • The ability of Chandra's emblem triggers at the beginning of the upkeep of the player who gets the emblem, not the upkeep of Chandra's controller.
  • The replacement effect of Chandra's last ability will exile the target creature or planeswalker if it would die this turn for any reason, not just due to lethal damage.

  • Because you're casting the copies "without paying their mana costs," you can't pay any alternative costs for the copies. You can pay additional costs, such as kicker costs. If the copies have any mandatory additional costs, you must pay those.
  • If the copied card has {X} in its mana cost, you must choose 0 as its value when casting the copies.
  • If the first ability resolves but the damage is prevented or redirected, the target creature still won't be able to block that turn.
  • If you exile a land card using the second ability, you may play that land only if you have any available land plays. Normally, this means you can play the land only if you haven't played a land yet that turn.
  • In the third ability, "exiled this way" means the cards you just exiled because of that ability resolving. Cards exiled with the second ability or with previous activations of the third ability don't count.
  • The card exiled by the second ability is exiled face up. Playing it follows the normal rules for playing that card. You must pay its costs, and you must follow all applicable timing rules. For example, if it's a creature card, you can cast it only during your main phase while the stack is empty.
  • To activate the first ability, you must target a player but you can choose to not target any creatures.
  • While casting the copies created by the third ability, timing restrictions based on the card's type (such as creature or sorcery) are ignored. Other restrictions, such as "Cast [this spell] only during combat," are not.
  • While resolving the third ability, you create the copies of the card in exile and cast them from exile. You can cast zero, one, two, or all three copies. The card itself isn't cast. It remains exiled.

0 Exile the top card of your library. You may play it this turn.
−7 Exile the top ten cards of your library. Choose an instant or sorcery card exiled this way and copy it three times. You may cast the copies without paying their mana costs.

    Rules

  • An effect that instructs you to "cast" a card doesn't allow you to play lands. If the card exiled with Chandra's first ability is a land card, you can't play it and Chandra deals 2 damage to each opponent.
  • Chandra's emblem's ability resolves before the spell that caused it to trigger. It resolves even if that spell is countered or otherwise leaves the stack.
  • If you cast the exiled card, you do so as part of the resolution of Chandra's ability. You can't wait to cast it later in the turn. Timing permissions based on the card's type are ignored, but other restrictions (such as "Cast [this card] only during combat") are not.
  • In a Two-Headed Giant game, Chandra's first ability causes 4 damage total to be dealt to the opposing team.
  • Loyalty abilities can't be mana abilities. Chandra's second ability uses the stack and can be countered or otherwise responded to. Like all loyalty abilities, it can be activated only once per turn, during your main phase, when the stack is empty, and only if no other loyalty abilities of the planeswalker have been activated this turn.
  • The emblem created by Chandra's last ability is colorless. The damage it deals is from a colorless source.
  • You pay the costs for the exiled card if you cast it. You may pay alternative costs such as emerge rather than the card's mana cost.

Narset Of The Ancient Way Emblem

    Rules

  • An ability that triggers when a player casts a spell resolves before the spell that caused it to trigger. It resolves even if that spell is countered.
  • Because it's a loyalty ability, Narset's first ability isn't a mana ability. It can be activated only any time you could cast a sorcery. It uses the stack and can be responded to.
  • If a card you discard has {X} in its mana cost, X is considered to be 0.
  • Narset's second ability goes on the stack without a target. While that ability is resolving, you draw a card and may choose to discard a card. When you discard a nonland card this way, the reflexive triggered ability triggers and you pick a target to be dealt damage. This is different from effects that say "If you do . . ." in that you choose a target after looking at the card you draw and players can respond to the reflexive triggered ability knowing how much damage will be dealt.
  • The emblem created by Narset's last ability is colorless. The damage it deals is from a colorless source.
  • You can discard a card even if Narset leaves the battlefield before her middle ability resolves. The reflexive triggered ability will still trigger if you discard a nonland card.

    Rules

  • If an effect copies a spell multiple times, as Finale of Promise may, Ral's first ability triggers that many times.
  • If the spell that's copied has damage divided as it was cast, the division can't be changed (although the targets receiving that damage still can). The same is true of spells that distribute counters.
  • If the spell that's copied is modal (that is, it says "Choose one —" or the like), the copy created by Ral's last ability will have the same mode or modes. You can't choose different ones.
  • Some spells instruct you to "copy target instant or sorcery spell." Because a spell is never a legal target for itself, you can't cast such a spell targeting itself to create a loop that causes Ral's first ability to trigger over and over.
  • The copies that Ral's last ability creates are created on the stack, so they're not "cast." Abilities that trigger when a player casts a spell won't trigger.
  • You can't choose to pay any additional costs for the copy created by Ral's last ability. However, effects based on any additional costs that were paid for the original spell are copied as though those same costs were paid for the copy too.
  • If an effect copies a card rather than a spell (such as that of God-Eternal Kefnet), this doesn't cause Ral's first ability to trigger. That ability will trigger if you cast the copy, however.

  • If an effect begins to apply to the target artifact before it becomes a copy of another permanent, that effect will continue to apply.
  • If the target artifact becomes a creature the same turn it enters the battlefield, you can't attack with it or use any of its {T} abilities unless it has haste.
  • If the target artifact copies a permanent that's copying something else, it will become whatever the target is copying.
  • If the target artifact is an Equipment attached to a creature and it becomes a copy of a non-Equipment permanent, it becomes unattached. If it becomes a copy of an Equipment, it remains attached.
  • If the target artifact isn't an Equipment and becomes a copy of an Equipment, it'll become unattached when it becomes a non-Equipment artifact again.
  • Saheeli's first ability resolves before the spell that caused it to trigger. It resolves even if that spell is countered.
  • Saheeli's loyalty ability causes the target artifact to copy the printed values of the target permanent, plus any copy effects that have been applied to it. It won't copy counters on that permanent or effects that have changed its power, toughness, types, color, or so on. Notably, it won't copy effects that made the target permanent become a creature.
  • The target artifact is an artifact in addition to whatever types the second target has, and this exception is copiable. If something else copies the artifact later in the turn, that copy also will be an artifact.
