"Find me cards equivalent to: Rise and Shine"

Equivalent cards to Rise and Shine (blue sorceries that turn artifacts into artifact creatures or animate artifacts) include:
1. Karn's Touch – Instant, but very close: Until end of turn, target noncreature artifact becomes an artifact creature with power and toughness each equal to its converted mana cost.
2. Tezzeret's Touch – Not a sorcery, but an aura that animates an artifact: Enchanted artifact is a creature with base power and toughness 5/5.
3. March of the Machines – Enchantment, animates all noncreature artifacts as creatures.

True sorcery-speed direct analogues to Rise and Shine are rare, but these cards are close in spirit and color. Rise and Shine remains unique for its overload and +1/+1 counter application.

  • A noncreature permanent that turns into a creature can attack, and its {T} abilities can be activated, only if its controller has continuously controlled that permanent since the beginning of their most recent turn. It doesn’t matter how long the permanent has been a creature.

    Rules

  • Each artifact land has a mana value of 0. March of the Machines makes them 0/0 creatures, which are put into the graveyard as a state-based action.
  • If a noncreature artifact is also another card type, such as enchantment or land, it will retain those types in addition to being an artifact creature.
  • If an Equipment becomes a creature, it can no longer equip a creature. If it's currently attached to a creature, it becomes unattached (but remains on the battlefield). You can activate the Equipment's equip ability, but it won't do anything.
  • If a noncreature artifact becomes an artifact creature this way and then another effect animates it, the new effect overrides March of the Machines's effect. For example, Chimeric Staff is a 4/4 creature while March of the Machines is on the battlefield. If you activate Chimeric Staff's ability and choose X = 5, Chimeric Staff will be a 5/5 artifact creature for the rest of the turn.
  • A noncreature permanent that turns into a creature is subject to the "summoning sickness" rule: It can only attack, and its {T} abilities can only be activated, if its controller has continuously controlled that permanent since the beginning of their most recent turn.

    Overload

    Rules

  • Because a spell with overload doesn't target when its overload cost is paid, it may affect permanents with hexproof or with protection from the appropriate color.
  • If you are instructed to cast a spell with overload "without paying its mana cost," you can't choose to pay its overload cost instead.
  • If you don't pay the overload cost of a spell with overload, that spell will have a single target. If you pay the overload cost, the spell won't have any targets.
  • To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost you're paying (such as an overload cost), add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions. The mana value of the spell remains unchanged, no matter what the total cost to cast it was.

    Enchant

    Rules

  • A Vehicle enchanted by Tezzeret’s Touch becomes a 5/5 creature. Crewing it won’t change its power and toughness.
  • An artifact creature enchanted by Tezzeret’s Touch becomes 5/5 instead of its normal power and toughness.
  • An artifact that becomes a creature due to Tezzeret’s Touch can’t attack unless you’ve controlled it continuously since your turn began. It doesn’t matter whether or not it was a creature at that time.
  • If Tezzeret’s Touch becomes unattached from an artifact that’s attacking or blocking, that artifact will be removed from combat unless it’s normally a creature or another effect such as a crew ability is also making it a creature.
  • If the enchanted artifact is an Equipment, it becomes unattached and it can’t be attached to anything for as long as it remains a creature.
