"Find me cards equivalent to: The Rani"

Cards similar to The Rani (Legendary Creature, colors: B, R, U, interacts with goad and attacks, creates Aura tokens):
1. Kraum, Ludevic's Opus: Izzet, attacks trigger, legendary, draws cards.
2. Karazikar, the Eye Tyrant: Rakdos, goads creatures, rewards attacks, legendary.
3. Xanathar, Guild Kingpin: Dimir, legendary, manipulation, but not goad.
4. Kaervek the Merciless: Rakdos, punishes opponents for spells, legendary.
5. Izzet Chemister: Izzet, legendary, cares about spells.

Reason: No other card is an exact match, but The Rani, Kraum, Ludevic’s Opus, and Karazikar, the Eye Tyrant all share the most overlap as Grixis (B/R/U) legends with attack or goad-related effects. No Grixis legends exactly create Aura tokens and investigate, but these are the closest by color and thematic mechanic.

  • Any of the cards you don't cast will remain exiled.
  • If the card has {X} in its mana cost, you must choose 0 as the value of X when casting it without paying its mana cost.
  • If you cast a card "without paying its mana cost," you can't pay any alternative costs. You can, however, pay additional costs. If the card has any mandatory additional costs, such as that of Tormenting Voice, those must be paid to cast the card.
  • The last ability of Izzet Chemister only lets you cast cards exiled by that card. If Izzet Chemister leaves the battlefield before you activate that ability, the exiled cards are lost forever.
  • You cast the exiled cards one at a time in any order. Later spells can target ones you cast earlier. None of the spells resolve until after you're done casting them all.
  • You must cast any of the exiled cards you wish to cast while Izzet Chemister's last ability is resolving. You can't cast them later in the turn. A sorcery cast this way will be cast at a time you normally wouldn't be able to.

  • Alternative costs, additional costs, and cost reductions don't change a spell's mana value. Its mana value is still based on its mana cost.
  • An ability that triggers when a player casts a spell resolves before the spell that caused it to trigger. It resolves even if that spell is countered.
  • For spells with {X} in their mana costs, use the value chosen for X to determine the spell's mana value.

    Rules

  • An effect that checks whether you control your commander is satisfied if you control one or both of your two commanders.
  • Both commanders start in the command zone, and the remaining 98 cards (or 58 cards in a Commander Draft game) of your deck are shuffled to become your library.
  • If something refers to your commander while you have two commanders, it refers to one of them of your choice. If you are instructed to perform an action on your commander (e.g. put it from the command zone into your hand due to Command Beacon), you choose one of your commanders at the time the effect happens.
  • If your Commander deck has two commanders, you can only include cards whose own color identities are also found in your commanders' combined color identities. If Falthis and Kediss are your commanders, your deck may contain cards with black and/or red in their color identity, but not cards with green, white, or blue.
  • Kraum's ability looks at the entire turn to determine which spell is a player's second spell. It doesn't matter whether Kraum was on the battlefield when the first spell was cast.
  • Kraum's triggered ability can trigger only once each turn for each opponent.
  • Kraum's triggered ability will resolve regardless of whether the first or second spell that a given opponent cast that turn has resolved, was countered, or is still on the stack. Notably, the ability will always resolve before the second spell resolves.
  • Once the game begins, your two commanders are tracked separately. If you cast one, you won't have to pay an additional {2} the first time you cast the other. A player loses the game after having been dealt 21 damage from any one of them, not from both of them combined.
  • One opponent must cast two spells for Kraum's triggered ability to trigger. Two spells from different opponents won't cause it to trigger.
  • To have two commanders, both must have the partner ability as the game begins. Losing the ability during the game doesn't cause either to cease to be your commander.
  • You can choose two commanders with partner that are the same color or colors. In Commander Draft, you can even choose two of the same commander with partner if you drafted them. If you do this, make sure you keep the number of times you've cast each from the command zone clear for "commander tax" purposes.

  • If an effect instructs you to choose a creature type, you may choose Time Lord.
  • Neither "Time" nor "Lord" are creature types. Some older cards were printed with the subtype "Lord," but all of those cards have updated Oracle card text that removed that type.
  • Unlike other creature types in Magic that are each only one word, the two words "Time Lord" represent a single creature subtype. Time Lord is the only two-word creature type.

  • During your turn, you can look at the top card of the chosen opponent's library whenever you want (with one restriction; see below), even if you don't have priority. This action doesn't use the stack. Knowing what that card is becomes part of the information you have access to, just like you can look at the cards in your hand.
  • If the top card of that library changes while you're casting a spell, playing a land, or activating an ability, you can't look at the new top card until you finish doing so. This means that if you cast a spell from the top of that library, you can't look at the next card until you're done paying for that spell.
  • The target opponent may still cast spells in response to Xanathar, Guild Kingpin's ability in your upkeep. If that player has somehow become an illegal target for the ability as it tries to resolve, the ability does nothing. They may cast spells and you cannot look at or play the top card of their library.
  • Xanathar doesn't change when you can cast spells or play lands. You must still follow all normal timing rules and land play limits.
  • You'll still pay all costs for spells cast this way, including additional costs. You may also pay alternative costs if any are available.

At the beginning of your upkeep, choose target opponent. Until end of turn, that player can't cast spells, you may look at the top card of their library any time, you may play the top card of their library, and you may spend mana as though it were mana of any color to cast spells this way.
