"Find me cards equivalent to: Ashiok, Dream Render"

Equivalent or similar cards to Ashiok, Dream Render in blue/black that restrict searching libraries or interact with graveyards are:
1. Ashiok, Dream Render (original, for reference)
2. Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver — Exiles cards from opponents' libraries and graveyards.
3. Ashiok, Sculptor of Fears — Mills and reanimates creatures from graveyards (not library search restriction, but graveyard interaction).
4. Narset, Parter of Veils — Blue, restricts opponents' card draw (not searching, but similar disruptive effect, though only blue).
5. Stranglehold — Not blue/black and not a planeswalker, so doesn't qualify.
6. Sire of Stagnation — Blue/black, interacts with opponent's library/exile but isn't a planeswalker.

Summary: There is no other blue/black planeswalker that exactly restricts library searching and interacts with graveyards, but Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver is the closest within blue/black for graveyard/library disruption.

  • Effects that instruct your opponents to reveal or look at cards from the top of their libraries will still work. Only effects that use the word “search” are affected.
  • If Ashiok’s last ability targets an opponent, the cards put into their graveyard will be among the cards exiled by the ability. No player may take any actions between the time the cards are put into a graveyard and the time your opponents’ graveyards are all exiled.
  • If an effect says “Search your library . . . then shuffle your library,” your opponents shuffle their libraries even though they can’t search.
  • If an effect says “You may search your library . . . If you do, shuffle your library” or “You may search your library . . . then shuffle your library,” your opponents can’t choose to search, so they won’t shuffle.

  • Ashiok's second ability doesn't target any creature card. You choose which creature card to return when that ability resolves, but you must choose one with mana value equal to the value you chose for X when activating the ability.
  • Ashiok's second ability refers to any creature card exiled because of Ashiok's first or third ability.
  • If Ashiok leaves the battlefield, and later another Ashiok enters the battlefield, it is a new object (even if the two were represented by the same card). Creature cards exiled by the original Ashiok can't be put onto the battlefield by the second ability of the new Ashiok.
  • If you put a creature card with bestow onto the battlefield, it will be a creature on the battlefield, not an Aura.
  • If you put a creature card with {X} in its mana cost onto the battlefield, the value of that X is 0.

  • In a multiplayer game, if a player leaves the game, all cards that player owns leave as well. If you leave the game, any permanents you control from Ashiok’s second ability are exiled, and the control effect of Ashiok’s last ability ends.
  • The effect of Ashiok’s last ability lasts indefinitely. It doesn’t expire as the turn ends or if Ashiok leaves the battlefield.

  • If an opponent hasn't drawn any cards in a turn and a spell or ability instructs that player to draw multiple cards, that player will just draw one card. However, if the draws are optional, the player can't choose to draw, even if they could draw one card this way.
  • Narset will "see" cards drawn by opponents earlier in the turn she entered the battlefield, although Narset can't affect cards drawn before she entered the battlefield. For example, if an opponent draws two cards, then Narset enters the battlefield, that opponent can't draw more cards that turn, but the two drawn cards are unaffected.
  • Replacement effects (such as that of Underrealm Lich or the first ability of Jace, Wielder of Mysteries) can't be used to replace draws that Narset disallows. However, if an opponent's first draw is replaced (by Underrealm Lich's ability, for example), that draw didn't happen and Narset won't stop the next draw (which may also be replaced by Underrealm Lich's ability).
  • Your opponents can each draw a maximum of one card each on each player's turn. Subsequent card draws during that turn are ignored.

    Devoid

    Rules

  • A card with devoid is just colorless. It’s not colorless and the colors of mana in its mana cost.
  • Cards with devoid use frames that are variations of the transparent frame traditionally used for Eldrazi. The top part of the card features some color over a background based on the texture of the hedrons that once imprisoned the Eldrazi. This coloration is intended to aid deckbuilding and game play.
  • Devoid works in all zones, not just on the battlefield.
  • If a card loses devoid, it will still be colorless. This is because effects that change an object’s color (like the one created by devoid) are considered before the object loses devoid.
  • If that player has one card in their library when Sire of Stagnation’s triggered ability resolves, that card will be exiled. If their library has zero cards, no cards are exiled. In both cases, you’ll still draw two cards. That player won’t lose the game (until they attempt to draw a card from an empty library).
  • Other cards and abilities can give a card with devoid color. If that happens, it’s just the new color, not that color and colorless.
  • The cards are exiled from the library face up.
