"Find me cards equivalent to: Farmer Cotton"

Equivalent cards (color='G, W', similar token-creating ETB effect):

  • Farmer Cotton (your searched card)
  • Trostani Discordant — ETB creates two 1/1 white Soldier tokens
  • Adeline, Resplendent Cathar — creates 1/1 white Human tokens on attack (not ETB, but close)
  • Rhys the Redeemed — not ETB, but creates token copies and fits color

Reason: All are green/white legendary creatures with ETB or repeatable token-creating effects. None create both Halflings and Food exactly, but these are closest analogues in color identity and function.

    Vigilance

    Rules

  • Although the Human tokens created by the triggered ability are attacking, they were never declared as attacking creatures (for the purposes of abilities that trigger whenever a creature attacks, for example).
  • Attacking with any creatures will cause Adeline's last ability to trigger. Adeline doesn't have to be among them.
  • The ability that defines Adeline's power works in all zones, not just the battlefield. As long as Adeline is on the battlefield (and still a creature), that ability will count Adeline itself.
  • Tokens will be created for each of your opponents, not just opponents that you attacked.
  • You choose whether each token is attacking that opponent or a planeswalker they control as those tokens enter the battlefield.

  • Because damage remains marked on a creature until it's removed as the turn ends, nonlethal damage dealt to other creatures you control may become lethal if Trostani leaves the battlefield during that turn.
  • If a creature has an ability that triggers at the beginning of each end step and Trostani's ability causes you to gain control of it, the ability of that creature is still controlled by the creature's former controller. If the creature has an ability that triggers at the beginning of your end step, that ability doesn't trigger when you gain control of it.
  • The owner of a token is the player who created it.
