"Find me cards equivalent to: Hexmark Destroyer"

Equivalent cards to Hexmark Destroyer (artifact creature, black, hard-to-block, graveyard recursion):
1. Dread Slaver — Black, returns from graveyard, hard-to-block by fear.
2. Phyrexian Metamorph — Artifact creature, blue-black, recursion via graveyard synergy.
3. Skeletal Swarming (not a creature, but black artifact recursion).
4. Scarecrone — Artifact creature, black, recursion for artifact creatures.
5. Dread Return (spell that recurs creature cards, works with artifacts).

No card exactly matches Hexmark Destroyer’s unique unblockable clause and Unearth, but Netherborn Phalanx (black, hard-to-block), Skaab Ruinator (blue, self-recurring), and Scrap Trawler (artifact, recursion) are similar in one of these aspects.

    Flashback

    Rules

  • "Flashback [cost]" means "You may cast this card from your graveyard by paying [cost] rather than paying its mana cost" and "If the flashback cost was paid, exile this card instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack."
  • A spell cast using flashback will always be exiled afterward, whether it resolves, is countered, or leaves the stack in some other way.
  • If a card with flashback is put into your graveyard during your turn, you can cast it if it's legal to do so before any other player can take any actions.
  • To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost (such as a flashback cost) you're paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions. The mana value of the spell is determined only by its mana cost, no matter what the total cost to cast the spell was.
  • You can cast a spell using flashback even if it was somehow put into your graveyard without having been cast.
  • You must still follow any timing restrictions and permissions, including those based on the card's type. For instance, you can cast a sorcery using flashback only when you could normally cast a sorcery.
  • You choose the target for Dread Return before paying any of its costs, so it's not possible to cast it using flashback and bring back one of the creatures you sacrifice.

    Rules

  • Dread Slaver will return if it somehow dealt damage to itself and then dies.
  • Each time a creature dies, check whether Dread Slaver had dealt any damage to it at any time during that turn. If so, Dread Slaver's ability will trigger. It doesn't matter who controlled the creature or whose graveyard it was put into.
  • If Dread Slaver and a creature it was blocking or blocked by both die in combat, Dread Slaver's ability will trigger.
  • The card will return to the battlefield under your control only if it's still in the graveyard when the ability resolves. If it's not (perhaps because an ability like undying has already returned it to the battlefield), nothing happens.

    Abilities/Keywords

    Unearth

    Rules

  • Activating a permanent card's unearth ability isn't the same as casting it as a spell. The unearth ability is put on the stack, but the card is not. Spells and abilities that interact with activated abilities (such as Stifle) will interact with unearth, but spells and abilities that interact with spells (such as Cancel) will not.
  • At the beginning of the end step, a permanent returned to the battlefield with unearth is exiled. This is a delayed triggered ability, and it can be countered by effects that counter triggered abilities. If the ability is countered, the permanent will stay on the battlefield and the delayed trigger won't trigger again. However, the replacement effect will still exile it if it eventually leaves the battlefield.
  • If a permanent returned to the battlefield by an unearth ability would leave it for any reason, it's exiled instead—unless the spell or ability that's causing it to leave the battlefield is actually trying to exile it. In that case, the spell or ability succeeds at exiling the permanent. If the spell or ability later returns the card to the battlefield, it will return as a new object with no relation to its previous existence. The unearth effect will no longer apply to it.
  • If you activate a card's unearth ability but that card is removed from your graveyard before the ability resolves, that unearth ability will resolve and do nothing.
  • Unearth grants haste to the permanent that's returned to the battlefield. However, neither of the "exile" abilities is granted to that permanent. If that creature loses all its abilities, it will still be exiled at the beginning of the end step, and if it would leave the battlefield, it is still exiled instead.

    Rules

  • Any "enters" abilities of the copied permanent will trigger when Phyrexian Metamorph enters. Any "as [this] enters" or "[this] enters with" abilities of the chosen permanent will also work.
  • Except for also being an artifact, Phyrexian Metamorph copies exactly what was printed on the original permanent and nothing more (unless that creature is itself copying something or is a token; see below). It doesn't copy whether that permanent is tapped or untapped, whether it has any counters on it or Auras attached to it, or any noncopy effects that have changed its power, toughness, types, color, and so on.
  • If Phyrexian Metamorph copies a noncreature artifact, it is no longer a creature.
  • If Phyrexian Metamorph somehow enters at the same time as another permanent (due to Mass Polymorph or Liliana Vess's third ability, for example), Phyrexian Metamorph can't become a copy of that permanent. You may choose only a permanent that's already on the battlefield.
  • If the chosen creature is copying something else (for example, if the chosen creature is a Clone), then your Phyrexian Metamorph enters as whatever the chosen creature copied, except it's also an artifact.
  • If the chosen permanent has {X} in its mana cost (such as Protean Hydra), X is considered to be zero.
  • If the chosen permanent is a token, Phyrexian Metamorph copies the original characteristics of that token as stated by the effect that put the token onto the battlefield, except it's also an artifact. Phyrexian Metamorph is not a token.
  • You can choose not to copy anything. In that case, Phyrexian Metamorph simply enters as a 0/0 artifact creature and is put into its owner's graveyard as a state-based action (unless something else is raising its toughness).
