  • A planeswalker with indestructible still loses loyalty as it's dealt damage. It is put into its owner's graveyard if its loyalty becomes 0.
  • Because damage remains marked on a creature until the damage is removed as the turn ends, nonlethal damage dealt to a creature you control may become lethal if Avacyn leaves the battlefield during that turn.
  • A battle with indestructible still loses defense counters as it's dealt damage. If it's a Siege, it will still be exiled when the last defense counter is removed from it, and its controller may still cast it transformed without paying its mana cost.

  • If an effect would simultaneously destroy Indestructibility and the creature it’s enchanting, only Indestructibility is destroyed.
  • If a creature enchanted by Indestructibility is dealt lethal damage, the creature isn’t destroyed, but the damage remains marked on the creature. If Indestructibility stops enchanting that creature later in the turn, the creature will no longer have indestructible and will be destroyed.
  • Lethal damage, damage from a source with deathtouch, and effects that say “destroy” won’t cause a permanent with indestructible to be put into the graveyard. However, a permanent with indestructible can be put into the graveyard for a number of reasons. The most likely reasons are if it’s sacrificed, if it’s legendary and another legendary permanent with the same name is controlled by the same player, if it’s a planeswalker and another planeswalker with the same subtype is controlled by the same player, if it’s a creature with toughness 0 or less, or if it’s an Aura that’s either unattached or attached to something illegal.

  • If a creature has been dealt damage, that damage remains marked on it until the cleanup step. If a creature with a divinity counter on it has been dealt lethal damage, and later in the turn Kindred Boon leaves the battlefield or the counter is removed from that creature, that creature will be destroyed.
  • If a creature that isn't of the chosen type somehow gets a divinity counter on it, that creature will have indestructible.
  • If you somehow control a Kindred Boon with no chosen creature type, its activated ability can't be activated.
  • You can't choose multiple creature types, such as "Cat Warrior." A Cat Warrior is both a Cat and a Warrior. It's affected by anything that affects either type and unaffected by things that affect non-Cat or non-Warrior creatures.
  • You must choose an existing creature type, such as Vampire or Cat. Card types such as "artifact" can't be chosen.
