  • All eight of the permanents sharing a name must be artifacts. If you control only seven artifacts with the same name and a nonartifact permanent with that same name, you won't win the game.
  • Any abilities that trigger on the token being created won't resolve until after Mechanized Production's triggered ability has finished resolving entirely and performed its check for eight artifacts with the same name.
  • Any enters-the-battlefield abilities of the copied artifact trigger when the artifact token enters the battlefield. The artifact token also has any "this enters the battlefield with" or "as this enters the battlefield" abilities that the copied artifact has.

The triggered ability creates no token, but you can still win the game if you control enough artifacts with the same name.
  • If you control eight or more artifacts that share a name while you control Mechanized Production, you won't win the game yet. You'll win the game while resolving its triggered ability during your upkeep.
  • The eight artifacts with the same name don't have to have the same name as the enchanted artifact. For example, you win the game if you control eight Thopter artifact creature tokens as Mechanized Production's ability resolves, even if Mechanized Production isn't attached to a Thopter.
  • The token copies exactly what was printed on the original artifact and nothing else (unless that artifact is copying something else or is a token; see below).   • If an Aura is put onto the battlefield without being cast, such as by being created as a token, the Aura's controller-to-be chooses what it will enchant as it enters the battlefield. An Aura put onto the battlefield this way doesn't target anything (so it could be attached to an opponent's permanent with hexproof, for example), but the Aura's enchant ability restricts what it can be attached to. If an Aura token can't legally be attached to anything, it isn't created.

  • If the copied permanent is copying something else, the token enters the battlefield as whatever that permanent is copying.
  • If the copied permanent is itself a token, the token created by Mythos of Illuna copies the original characteristics of that token as stated by the effect that created it.
  • If the target creature is an illegal target or if the token is no longer a creature when the token's granted ability tries to resolve, the ability doesn't resolve. If it's a legal target but the token is no longer on the battlefield when the ability resolves, the target creature won't deal or be dealt damage.
  • If the token isn't a creature immediately after it enters the battlefield, the granted ability won't trigger. You can't take actions to make that token into a creature after it has entered the battlefield.
  • If {R}{G} was spent to cast the spell, the token has the extra ability. If something copies the token later, the copy will also have that ability.
  • The abilities of the Mythos check what colors of mana were spent to cast the spell. It's not an alternative cost to cast the spell.
  • The ability checks what mana was actually spent to cast a spell. If an effect allows you to spend mana "as though it were mana" of any color or type, that allows you to spend mana you couldn't otherwise spend, but it doesn't change what mana you spent to cast the spell.
