"Find me cards equivalent to: Obzedat's Aid"

Equivalent cards to Obzedat's Aid (Sorcery, Black/White, return any permanent from graveyard to battlefield):

  • Rescue from the Underworld (but is Instant and only targets creature)
  • Unburial Rites (Sorcery, but only creatures)
  • Rise to the Dark Realms (Sorcery, Black, all creatures)
  • Primevals' Glorious Rebirth (Legendary permanents, B/W, but is also multicolored)

Closest card is still Obzedat's Aid for that ability and restriction. No other sorcery in only B/W does exactly the same.
Reason: Most similar cards limit to creatures only or are not both B and W.

    Rules

  • All of the permanents put onto the battlefield this way enter at the same time. If any have triggered abilities that trigger on something else entering the battlefield, they'll see each other.
  • Other than the casting restriction, the legendary supertype on a sorcery carries no additional rules. You may cast any number of legendary sorceries in a turn, and your deck may contain any number of legendary cards (but no more than four of any with the same name).
  • You can't cast a legendary sorcery unless you control a legendary creature or a legendary planeswalker. Once you begin to cast a legendary sorcery, losing control of your legendary creatures and planeswalkers won't affect that spell.
  • You must return all legendary permanent cards to the battlefield, even if the “legend rule” will put some right back into your graveyard. If any abilities triggered from the legendary permanents entering the battlefield, those abilities will be put onto the stack after applying the “legend rule.”

  • However, if the sacrificed creature is put into another public zone instead of the graveyard, perhaps because it's your commander or because of another replacement effect, it will return to the battlefield from the zone it went to.
  • If either the sacrificed creature or the target creature card leaves the graveyard before the delayed triggered ability resolves during your next upkeep, it won't return.
  • If you sacrifice a creature token to cast Rescue from the Underworld, it won't return to the battlefield, although the target creature card will.
  • Once you announce you're casting Rescue from the Underworld, no player may attempt to stop you from casting the spell by removing the creature you want to sacrifice.
  • Rescue from the Underworld is exiled as it resolves, not later as its delayed trigger resolves.

    Abilities/Keywords

    Flashback

    Rules

  • "Flashback [cost]" means "You may cast this card from your graveyard by paying [cost] rather than paying its mana cost" and "If the flashback cost was paid, exile this card instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack."
  • A spell cast using flashback will always be exiled afterward, whether it resolves, is countered, or leaves the stack in some other way.
  • If a card with flashback is put into your graveyard during your turn, you can cast it if it's legal to do so before any other player can take any actions.
  • To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost (such as a flashback cost) you're paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions. The mana value of the spell is determined only by its mana cost, no matter what the total cost to cast the spell was.
  • You can cast a spell using flashback even if it was somehow put into your graveyard without having been cast.
  • You must still follow any timing restrictions and permissions, including those based on the card's type. For instance, you can cast a sorcery using flashback only when you could normally cast a sorcery.
