"Find me cards equivalent to: Sphinx of Forgotten Lore"

Here are cards equivalent in function or spirit to Sphinx of Forgotten Lore, matching the color blue (U), focus on flying Sphinxes, flash/instant-speed, graveyard interaction, or recurring spells:
1. Snapcaster Mage
Color: U
Text: Flash. When Snapcaster Mage enters the battlefield, target instant or sorcery card in your graveyard gains flashback until end of turn.

Reason: Nearly the same effect but on ETB instead of attack.
2. Mission Briefing
Color: U
Text: Instant. Surveil 2, then choose an instant or sorcery in your graveyard. You may cast it this turn.

Reason: Similar flashback-like graveyard recursion for spells.
3. Mnemonic Wall
Color: U
Text: When Mnemonic Wall enters the battlefield, return target instant or sorcery from your graveyard to your hand.

Reason: Retrieves spells from graveyard, but does not grant flashback.
4. Scholar of the Lost Trove
Color: U
Text: Flying. When this enters the battlefield, you may cast target instant, sorcery, or artifact from your graveyard without paying its mana cost.

Reason: Recursion for spells, though not flashback, and on ETB.

Cards like Sphinx of Forgotten Lore are rare, especially with the exact attack trigger and flash, but these suggestions are closest in blue.

    Rules

  • If you cast a spell this way and that card is exiled, it's considered a new object in the zone it's put into. It won't be exiled if it's put into your graveyard later in the turn.
  • Mission Briefing doesn't change when you can cast the chosen card. For example, if you choose a sorcery card, you can cast it only during your main phase when the stack is empty.
  • Mission Briefing is still on the stack while you choose an instant or sorcery card in your graveyard. Your Mission Briefing can't be to give yourself that same Mission Briefing.
  • The instant or sorcery card you choose may be one that you just surveilled into your graveyard.
  • When you surveil, you may put all the cards you look at back on top of your library, you may put all of those cards into your graveyard, or you may put some of those cards on top and the rest of them into your graveyard.
  • You perform the actions stated on a card in sequence. For some spells and abilities, you'll surveil last. For others, you'll surveil and then perform other actions.

(To surveil 2, look at the top two cards of your library, then put any number of them into your graveyard and the rest on top of your library in any order.)

  • If a spell has {X} in its mana cost, you must choose 0 as the value of X when casting it without paying its mana cost.
  • If you cast a spell “without paying its mana cost,” you can’t choose to cast it for any alternative costs. You can, however, pay additional costs. If the card has any mandatory additional costs, those must be paid to cast the spell.
  • If you cast an artifact spell this way, it won’t be exiled if it would be put into your graveyard this turn.
  • If you wish to cast the target card, you must cast it while the triggered ability is resolving. You can’t cast it later in the turn.

    Abilities/Keywords

    Flash

    Rules

  • "Flashback [cost]" means "You may cast this card from your graveyard if the resulting spell is an instant or sorcery spell by paying [cost] rather than paying its mana cost" and "If the flashback cost was paid, exile this card instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack."
  • A spell cast using flashback will always be exiled afterward, whether it resolves, is countered, or leaves the stack in some other way.
  • If a card has multiple instances of flashback, you may choose any of its flashback costs to pay.
  • If a card with flashback is put into your graveyard during your turn, you can cast it if it's legal to do so before any other player can take any actions.
  • If a card with no mana cost gains flashback, it has no flashback cost. It can't be cast this way.
  • If a split card gains flashback, you pay only the cost of the half you're casting.
  • If you cast a spell with flashback, you can't pay any alternative costs such as overload costs. You can pay additional costs such as kicker costs. If the spell has any mandatory additional costs, you must pay those to cast the spell with flashback.
  • If you cast an instant or sorcery with {X} in its mana cost this way, you still choose the value of X as part of casting the spell and pay that cost.
  • To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost (such as a flashback cost) you're paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions. The mana value of the spell is determined only by its mana cost, no matter what the total cost to cast the spell was.
  • You can cast a spell using flashback even if it was somehow put into your graveyard without having been cast.
  • You must still follow any timing restrictions and permissions, including those based on the card's type. For instance, you can cast a sorcery using flashback only when you could normally cast a sorcery.
