"Find me cards equivalent to: Aether Barrier"

Aether Barrier closest equivalents in blue (U) enchantments:
1. Arcane Laboratory — Limits spell casting, controlling board state.
2. Overburden — Forces land bounce when creatures enter.
3. Dovescape — Replaces noncreature spells with tokens.

These disrupt creature casting or punish spells, fitting blue control themes. None are identical, but Aether Barrier uniquely taxes creature spells.

  • If a split card is cast, Dovescape makes tokens equal to the mana value of the half that was cast.
  • The Bird tokens are created even if the spell isn't countered by Dovescape's ability. This may happen because the spell can't be countered, because it's already been countered, or because it's otherwise been removed from the stack by the time Dovescape's ability resolves.
