"Find me cards equivalent to: Body of Knowledge"

Cards equivalent to Body of Knowledge (blue creatures with power/toughness equal to cards in hand, and/or no max hand size, and/or drawing on damage):
1. Psychosis Crawler — Power/toughness = cards in hand, draws when you draw, no damage trigger.
2. Chasm Skulker — Grows as you draw, makes tokens on death, not equal to hand size.
3. Stormtide Leviathan — Just blue and big, not hand-size related, not as close.
4. Multiform Wonder — Blue construct, not hand-size related, can adjust stats.
5. Niv-Mizzet, Parun — Draw triggers similar, but not hand-size or stat linking.

Closest: Psychosis Crawler — color is blue (plus artifact), its power/toughness equal to hand size, second ability overlaps, but doesn't draw on damage. No perfect match for all Body of Knowledge abilities in mono-blue.

    Rules

  • As long as Body of Knowledge is in your hand, its ability will count itself.
  • Creatures may be dealt damage greater than their toughness. For example, if Body of Knowledge is a 3/3 creature and a source deals 5 damage to it, you'll draw five cards. Note that if Body of Knowledge is dealt lethal damage, it dies before the cards are drawn, meaning they won't raise Body of Knowledge's toughness in time to save it.
  • The ability that defines Body of Knowledge's power and toughness applies in all zones, not just the battlefield.

    Rules

  • If enough -1/-1 counters are put on Chasm Skulker at the same time to make its toughness 0 or less, the number of +1/+1 counters on it before it got any -1/-1 counters will be used to determine how many Squid tokens you get. For example, if there are two +1/+1 counters on Chasm Skulker and it gets three -1/-1 counters, you'll get two Squid tokens.
  • If you draw multiple cards, the first ability will trigger that many times. Each of these abilities will cause a +1/+1 counter to be put on Chasm Skulker.

    Rules

  • As you activate one of Multiform Wonder's two activated abilities, you must announce which one you're activating. However, you don't choose that ability's effect until it resolves. For example, you must announce that you're activating Multiform Wonder's middle ability specifically, but you don't choose which of the keywords it gains until the ability resolves.
  • Multiple instances of flying, vigilance, or lifelink on the same creature are redundant.
  • Energy counters are a kind of counter that a player may have. They're not associated with any specific permanents.
  • Energy counters aren't mana. They don't go away as steps, phases, and turns end, and effects that add mana "of any type" can't give you energy counters.
  • If a spell or ability with one or more targets states that you "may pay" some amount of {E}, and each permanent that it targets has become an illegal target, the spell or ability won't resolve. You can't pay any {E} even if you want to.
  • If an effect says you get one or more {E}, you get that many energy counters. To pay one or more {E}, you lose that many energy counters. You can't pay more energy counters than you have. Any effects that interact with counters a player gets, has, or loses can interact with energy counters.
  • Keep track of how many energy counters each player has. Potential ways to track this include writing theme down on paper or using dice, but any method that is clear and mutually agreeable is fine. (At higher levels of tournament play, dice may not be allowed for tracking counters that players have.)
  • Some spells and abilities that give you {E} may require targets. If each target chosen is an illegal target as that spell or ability tries to resolve, it won't resolve. You won't get any {E}.
  • Some triggered abilities state that you "may pay" a certain amount of {E}. You can't pay that amount multiple times to multiply the effect. You simply choose whether or not to pay that amount of {E} as the ability resolves.
  • Some triggered abilities that state that you "may pay" a certain amount of {E} describe an effect that happens "If you do." In that case, no player may take actions to try to stop the ability's effect after you make your choice. If the payment is followed by the phrase "When you do," then you'll choose any targets for that reflexive triggered ability and put it on the stack before players can take actions.
  • {E} is the energy symbol. It represents one energy counter.

    Rules

  • If a spell or ability causes you to put cards into your hand without specifically using the word "draw," Niv-Mizzet's first triggered ability won't trigger.
  • If an effect instructs you to draw multiple cards, Niv-Mizzet's first triggered ability triggers that many times. You choose targets for those abilities after you've drawn all of the cards.
  • Niv-Mizzet's second triggered ability resolves before the spell that caused it to trigger. It resolves even if that spell is countered. This causes its first triggered ability to trigger, and that also resolves before the spell.
  • Players can cast spells and activate abilities after Niv-Mizzet's second triggered ability resolves but before the spell that caused it to trigger does. Notably, the card you draw may be able to counter that spell.

    Abilities/Keywords

    Landwalk

    Rules

  • If Stormtide Leviathan loses its abilities, all lands on the battlefield (including those that enter the battlefield later on) will still be Islands in addition to their other types and will still be able to tap to produce {U}. The way continuous effects work, Stormtide Leviathan's type-changing ability is applied before the effect that removes that ability is applied.
  • Islandwalk cares about lands with the land type Island, not necessarily lands named Island.
  • Stormtide Leviathan's second ability causes each land on the battlefield to have the land type Island. Each land thus has the ability "{T}: Add {U}." Nothing else changes about those lands, including their names, other subtypes, other abilities, and whether they're legendary or basic.
  • Stormtide Leviathan's third ability affects all creatures with neither flying nor islandwalk, regardless of who controls them. They can't attack any player or planeswalker.
