"Find me cards equivalent to: Collector's Cage"

Equivalent cards (same color identity: White, Artifact, similar function) to Collector's Cage:
1. Staff of the Storyteller — Artifact that ETBs, generates value and interacts with counters.
2. Idol of Endurance — White artifact, exiles cards, lets you play them later.
3. Gavony Silversmith (not an artifact, but White, distributes +1/+1 counters)
4. Athrasta, Titan of Fates (Commander, has Hideaway 5, white part of identity)

Reason: No artifact has exactly Hideaway + counter support, but Staff of the Storyteller and Idol of Endurance are closest in white artifact design, with exile/play and counters interaction. Collector's Cage is unique in this combination.

    Abilities/Keywords

    Hideaway

    Rules

  • Any player who has controlled a permanent with a hideaway ability since a card was exiled with it may look at that card.
  • Collector's Cage's last ability looks at the creatures you control as it resolves to determine if you can play the exiled card. For example, if you control a 4/5 creature, a 1/1 creature, and a 2/1 creature, there are three different powers among creatures you control.
  • Hideaway now causes you to put the rest of the cards on the bottom of your library in a random order instead of any order.
  • If the spell you cast has {X} in its mana cost, you must choose 0 as the value of X when casting it without paying its mana cost.
  • If you cast a spell "without paying its mana cost," you can't choose to cast it for any alternative costs. You can, however, pay additional costs, such as kicker costs. If the spell has any mandatory additional costs, those must be paid to cast the spell.
  • Previously, permanents with hideaway entered the battlefield tapped. This ability has been removed from the definition of hideaway. Older cards have received errata to have an additional paragraph that reads "[This permanent] enters the battlefield tapped," and they now have hideaway 4.
  • You choose whether to play the exiled card as Collector's Cage's last ability resolves. If you do, you do so as part of the resolution of that ability. You can't wait to play it later in the turn. Timing restrictions based on the card's types are ignored. However, you can never play lands on other players' turns.

  • If a card in a player's graveyard has {X} in its mana cost, X is considered to be 0.
  • If a spell has {X} in its mana cost, you must choose 0 as the value of X when casting it without paying its mana cost.
  • If you cast a spell with Idol of Endurance's last ability, it becomes a new object. If it returns to exile, it's no longer exiled with Idol of Endurance, and won't be returned to your graveyard once Idol of Endurance leaves the battlefield.
  • If you cast a spell “without paying its mana cost,” you can't choose to cast it for any alternative costs. You can, however, pay additional costs. If the card has any mandatory additional costs, those must be paid to cast the spell.
  • The exiled cards return to your graveyard immediately after Idol of Endurance leaves the battlefield. Any cards that had left exile before then (most likely because they were cast with Idol of Endurance's second ability) remain in their current zone.
  • The last ability of Idol of Endurance doesn't change when you may cast those creature spells. Normally this means during your main phase while the stack is empty, but you can cast a creature spell with flash at other times.
