"Find me cards equivalent to: Demonic Consultation"

Equivalent cards to Demonic Consultation (Instant, Black, similar effect):
1. Tainted Pact — Instant, Black. Exile the top card until you find one with a different name; you may put it into your hand, exile the rest.

Reason: Exiles from your library to dig for a named/specific card immediately to hand.
2. Plunge into Darkness — Instant, Black. Pay life to dig through cards and exile the rest.

Reason: Also digs deep into the library at instant speed.
3. Spoils of the Vault — Instant, Black. Name a card, exile until you find it, put it in your hand, lose 1 life for each card exiled.

Reason: Closest in function, but has a life-loss drawback.

All three are black instants with strong library exile/tutor effects like Demonic Consultation.

    Rules

  • There is no way to make this card affect your opponent. It affects "you", and "you" means the controller of the spell. It has no targets.
  • You must name a card that actually exists in the game of Magic.
  • If you don't reveal the named card (perhaps because it was in the top six cards of your library), you'll end up exiling your entire library. You don't lose the game at that point, but will lose the next time you're instructed to draw a card.
  • You don't name a card until Demonic Consultation resolves.

Exile the top card of your library. You may put that card into your hand unless it has the same name as another card exiled this way. Repeat this process until you put a card into your hand or you exile two cards with the same name, whichever comes first.
