"Find me cards equivalent to: Energy Refractor"

Cards equivalent to Energy Refractor (artifact, colorless, mana fixing, cantrip) are:
1. Prophetic Prism – Same CMC, draws a card when enters, {1} to filter mana.
2. Chromatic Star – Draws a card on graveyard, {1} to fix mana, but only once.
3. Chromatic Sphere – Similar to Star, but functions the same way.
4. Mind Stone – Doesn’t fix colors, but can tap for colorless and draws a card when sacrificed.

Reason: They are all colorless, give mana fixing (or similar ramp), and replace themselves with a card. Energy Refractor differs by filtering, not generating, colored mana each activation.

  • Chromatic Sphere’s ability is not a mana ability. Players can respond to it, and it can’t be activated in the middle of paying for a cost. A recent update to rule 605.1a has made any abilities that move cards to or from libraries no longer mana abilities.
