"Find me cards equivalent to: Feather, Radiant Arbiter"

Equivalent cards to Feather, Radiant Arbiter (Legendary Creature — Angel, color: R/W, with noncreature spell copying ability) are:
1. Feather, the Redeemed

  • Same colors, same legendary angel, and similar spell-casting interaction (returns targeted spells to your hand).
    2. Zada, Hedron Grinder
  • Red creature (not an angel), copies instant/sorcery targeting only it for each other creature you control.
    3. Kykar, Wind's Fury
  • R/W/U Legendary Bird Wizard, focuses on noncreature spells and tokens synergy.

Reason: Only Feather, the Redeemed is same color, type, and very close in ability. The others share spell-copying themes but differ in color or type. There are very few R/W legendary angels with spell-copying mechanics.

    Rules

  • Any choices made when the spell resolves won't have been made yet when it's copied. Any such choices will be made separately when the copy resolves.
  • Feather, Radiant Arbiter's ability triggers whenever you cast a noncreature spell that targets only Feather and no other object or player.
  • If a permanent spell is copied, the copies are put onto the battlefield as a token as the spell resolves rather than putting the copy of the spell onto the battlefield. The rules that apply to a permanent spell becoming a permanent apply to a copy of a spell becoming a token.
  • If the spell that's copied has an X whose value was determined as it was cast, the copies have the same value of X.
  • If the spell that's copied is modal (that is, it says "Choose one —" or the like), the copies will have the same mode. You can't choose different modes.
  • If you cast a noncreature spell that has multiple targets, but it's targeting Feather, Radiant Arbiter with all of them, Feather's last ability will trigger. In that case, each of those copies will also only target one of the chosen creatures.
  • The copies created by Feather, Radiant Arbiter's last ability are created on the stack, so they're not cast. Abilities that trigger when a player casts a spell (like Feather's own ability) won't trigger.
  • The token that a resolving copy of a permanent spell becomes isn't "created" and won't interact with abilities that care about tokens being created, such as that of Case of the Pilfered Proof.
  • You can't choose to pay any alternative or additional costs for the copies. However, effects based on any alternative or additional costs that were paid for the original spell are copied as though those same costs were paid for the copy.
  • You control all the copies, and you choose the order the copies are put on the stack. The original spell will be on the stack beneath those copies and will resolve last.

Flying, lifelink Whenever you cast a noncreature spell that targets only Feather, you may choose any number of other creatures that spell could target and pay for each of those creatures. If you do, for each of those creatures, copy that spell. The copy targets that creature. (Copies of permanent spells become tokens.)

    Rules

  • If Feather is still on the battlefield as you finish casting an instant or sorcery spell that targets one or more creatures you control, its ability triggers. The replacement effect that exiles that spell and the delayed triggered ability that returns it to your hand both take effect even if Feather leaves the battlefield after this point.
  • If an instant or sorcery spell you cast that targets your creature doesn't resolve for any reason (either because another spell or ability counters it or because all its targets are illegal as it tries to resolve), it won't be exiled. You won't return it to your hand.
  • If an instant or sorcery spell's own instructions tell you to exile it or put it anywhere else, it won't try to be put into your graveyard or exiled with Feather's effect, so you won't return it to your hand.
  • If another replacement effect instructs you to exile an instant or sorcery spell, such as that of Dreadhorde Arcanist or the flashback keyword, you may choose to apply Feather's replacement effect first. If you do, Feather's delayed triggered ability will return that card to your hand.
  • If you cast an instant or sorcery spell that you don't own, it won't try to be put into your graveyard, so you won't exile it with Feather's effect or return it to your hand.
  • The spell may have any other targets in addition to a creature you control.

  • Kykar's triggered ability will resolve before the spell that caused it to trigger but after targets have been chosen for that spell, so the Spirit that will be created can't be a target of that spell. Kykar's ability resolves even if that spell is countered.

    Rules

  • Any creature you control that couldn't be targeted by the original spell (due to shroud, protection abilities, targeting restrictions, or any other reason) is just ignored by Zada's ability.
  • If the spell that's copied has an X whose value was determined as it was cast (like Rolling Thunder does), the copies have the same value of X.
  • If the spell that's copied is modal (that is, it says "Choose one —" or the like), the copies will have the same mode. You can't choose a different one.
  • If you cast an instant or sorcery spell that has multiple targets, but it's targeting only Zada with all of them, Zada's ability will trigger. The copies will similarly each be targeting only one of your other creatures. You can't change any of the copy's targets to other creatures.
  • The controller of a copy can't choose to pay any alternative or additional costs for the copy. However, effects based on any alternative or additional costs that were paid for the original spell are copied as though those same costs were paid for the copy.
  • The copies that the ability creates are created on the stack, so they're not cast. Abilities that trigger when a player casts a spell (like Zada's ability itself) won't trigger.
  • You control all the copies. You choose the order the copies are put onto the stack. The original spell will be on the stack beneath those copies and will resolve last.
  • Zada's ability triggers whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell that targets only Zada and no other object or player.
