"Find me cards equivalent to: Haytham Kenway"

Here are some equivalent cards in UW (Blue/White), legendary, and that support Knights or have protection/ETB-exile effects:

  • Haytham Kenway (your searched card)
  • Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale (BW, not perfect color match, but legendary and Knight tribal; ignore for strict color)
  • Kwende, Pride of Femeref (W, gives Knights bonus abilities)
  • Sigarda, Font of Blessings (GW, gives protection-like effect, not strictly UW)
  • Derevi, Empyrial Tactician (UWG, control and blink synergy)
  • Raff Capashen, Ship’s Mage (UW, legendary, Knight, flashes support for historic—similar tribal utility)
  • Acquisition Octopus (U, not legendary, but flicker/blink synergy)
  • Lavinia of the Tenth (UW, legendary, exiles/detains on ETB)

Closest equivalents:

  • Raff Capashen, Ship’s Mage (UW, legendary, Human Knight; enables instant historic spells)
  • Lavinia of the Tenth (UW, legendary, detains creatures on ETB)

Reason:

Very few cards are both UW, legendary Knights, and have exile/protection abilities. Raff Capashen, Ship’s Mage and Lavinia of the Tenth are best matches for type/color/effect.

    Reconfigure

    Rules

  • Although it causes an Equipment to become attached to a creature, reconfigure is not an "equip ability" for the purpose of cards like Fighter Class and Leonin Shikari.
  • An Equipment creature can never become attached to itself. If an effect tries to do this, nothing happens.
  • An Equipment creature with reconfigure can be attached to creatures by effects other than its reconfigure ability, such as the activated ability of Brass Squire.
  • An Equipment doesn't become tapped when the permanent it's attached to becomes tapped. For example, if you attack with a creature that is equipped with Acquisition Octopus, then use reconfigure to unattach Acquisition Octopus after combat, the Octopus will be untapped and could be used to block during your opponent's turn.
  • As soon as an Equipment creature with reconfigure stops being a creature, any Equipment and Auras with enchant creature abilities become unattached. Auras that can enchant an Equipment that isn't a creature remain attached to it.
  • Attaching an Equipment with reconfigure to a creature causes that Equipment to stop being a creature until it becomes unattached. It also loses any creature subtypes it had.
  • If a permanent with reconfigure is somehow still a creature after it becomes attached (perhaps due to an effect like that of March of the Machines), it immediately becomes unattached from the equipped creature.
  • If an Equipment with reconfigure somehow loses its abilities while it is attached, the effect causing it to not be a creature continues to apply until it becomes unattached.
  • Reconfigure represents two activated abilities. Reconfigure [cost] means "[Cost]: Attach this permanent to another target creature you control. Activate only as a sorcery," and "[Cost]: Unattach this permanent. Activate only if this permanent is attached to a creature and only as a sorcery."
  • Similarly, if an Equipment is tapped, its reconfigure abilities may still be activated and it may still become attached to creatures. Becoming attached doesn't untap it. In most cases, an attached Equipment being tapped won't affect gameplay, but it will be relevant if it becomes unattached again before it untaps.

    Rules

  • Activated abilities include a colon and are written in the form "[cost]: [effect]." No one can activate any activated abilities, including mana abilities, of a detained permanent.
  • If a creature is already attacking or blocking when it's detained, it won't be removed from combat. It will continue to attack or block.
  • If a noncreature permanent is detained and later turns into a creature, it won't be able to attack or block.
  • If a permanent's activated ability is on the stack when that permanent is detained, the ability will be unaffected.
  • Lavinia's ability doesn't affect permanents an opponent gains control of after its enters-the-battlefield ability has resolved. Similarly, if you gain control of a detained permanent after that ability resolves, it will continue to be detained until your next turn.
  • The mana value of a creature token is 0 unless that token is a copy of another creature, in which case it copies that creature's mana cost.
  • The static abilities of a detained permanent still apply. The triggered abilities of a detained permanent can still trigger.
  • When a player leaves a multiplayer game, any continuous effects with durations that last until that player's next turn or until a specific point in that turn will last until that turn would have begun. They neither expire immediately nor last indefinitely.

  • If the top card of your library changes while you're casting a spell, playing a land, or activating an ability, you can't look at the new top card until you finish doing so. This means that if you cast the top card of your library, you can't look at the next one until you're done paying for that spell.
  • Sigarda lets you look at the top card of your library whenever you want (with one restriction—see below), even if you don't have priority. This action doesn't use the stack. Knowing what that card is becomes part of the information you have access to, just like you can look at the cards in your hand.
