"Find me cards equivalent to: Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant"

Equivalent cards to Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant (blue, Legendary Creature — Phyrexian Praetor):
1. Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur — Also blue, Legendary Creature — Phyrexian Praetor. It has strong disruptive and card draw effects.
2. Ertai, Resurrected — Blue in color identity, not a Praetor but does counter spells/abilities and draw cards.
3. Tishana, Voice of Thunder — Blue legend that draws cards and offers protection, but doesn't counter spells.
4. Narset, Parter of Veils (not a creature) — Strong disruptive blue planeswalker; limits opponents’ card draw.

Reason: There are very few blue Legendary Phyrexian Praetors—really only other Jin-Gitaxias variants. Other options mostly provide partial effects like draw or counter. Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant is unique in replicating your spells and countering opponent spells.

  • If a player has more cards in their hand than their maximum hand size during the cleanup step of that player's turn, that player discards until they have that many cards. A player's maximum hand size isn't checked at any time other than their own cleanup step.
  • Jin-Gitaxias doesn't affect the maximum hand size of its controller. Because the cleanup step is after the end step, its controller may have to discard some of the cards that were just drawn.
  • Unless another spell or ability is affecting your opponent's maximum hand size, Jin-Gitaxias's ability will result in your opponent having a maximum hand size of zero. They will discard each card from their hand during their cleanup step.

    Copy

    Rules

  • A copy is created even if the spell that caused the ability to trigger has been countered by the time that ability resolves. The copy resolves before the original spell.
  • If the spell that's copied had damage divided to targets as it was cast, the division can't be changed, although the targets receiving that damage still can. The same is true of spells that distribute counters to targets as it was cast.
  • If the spell that's copied is modal (that is, it says “Choose one —” or the like), the copy created by Jin-Gitaxias's first ability will have the same mode or modes. You can't choose different ones.
  • Jin-Gitaxias's last ability triggers once each turn, not once each turn per opponent.
  • The copies that Jin-Gitaxias's first ability creates are created on the stack, so they're not “cast.” Abilities that trigger when a player casts a spell won't trigger.
  • You can't choose to pay any additional costs for the copy created by Jin-Gitaxias's first ability. However, effects based on any additional costs that were paid for the original spell are copied as though those same costs were paid for the copy too.

    Rules

  • If an opponent hasn't drawn any cards in a turn and a spell or ability instructs that player to draw multiple cards, that player will just draw one card. However, if the draws are optional, the player can't choose to draw, even if they could draw one card this way.
  • Narset will "see" cards drawn by opponents earlier in the turn she entered the battlefield, although Narset can't affect cards drawn before she entered the battlefield. For example, if an opponent draws two cards, then Narset enters the battlefield, that opponent can't draw more cards that turn, but the two drawn cards are unaffected.
  • Replacement effects (such as that of Underrealm Lich or the first ability of Jace, Wielder of Mysteries) can't be used to replace draws that Narset disallows. However, if an opponent's first draw is replaced (by Underrealm Lich's ability, for example), that draw didn't happen and Narset won't stop the next draw (which may also be replaced by Underrealm Lich's ability).
  • Your opponents can each draw a maximum of one card each on each player's turn. Subsequent card draws during that turn are ignored.

    Rules

  • Because damage remains marked on a creature until it's removed as the turn ends, the damage Tishana takes during combat may become lethal if cards leave your hand later in the turn, such as by casting them in your postcombat main phase.
  • If Tishana enters the battlefield while you have no cards in hand, it will be put into your graveyard for having 0 toughness before its triggered ability resolves.
  • The number of creatures you control is counted only as Tishana's last ability resolves. If Tishana is still on the battlefield, it'll count itself.

Tishana's power and toughness are each equal to the number of cards in your hand. You have no maximum hand size. When Tishana enters, draw a card for each creature you control.
