"Find me cards equivalent to: Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer"

Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer:
Closest equivalents with similar colors and focus on morph or face-down mechanics:
1. Animar, Soul of Elements — Simic+Red, encourages casting creature spells for less.
2. Yarok, the Desecrated — Simic+Black, doubles ETB triggers, good for morph decks.
3. Rashmi, Eternities Crafter — Simic, rewards casting spells on opponents' turns.
4. Ixidron — Mono-blue, turns creatures face down (synergy with morph).

Reason: No exact equivalents for reducing morph costs and rewarding face-down creatures, but these commanders synergize with morph/ETB or similar mechanics in B/G/U.

    Rules

  • Animar's triggered ability resolves before the creature spell that causes it to trigger. The ability will resolve even if that spell is countered.
  • Animar's triggered ability triggers only when a creature spell is cast, after costs are paid. The counter put on Animar for a creature spell won't affect the cost of that creature spell, only future ones.
  • To determine the total cost of a creature spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost you're paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions. The mana value of the creature remains unchanged, no matter what the total cost to cast it was.

    Rules

  • If Ixidron and another creature are entering at the same time, the other creature enters face up.
  • The controller of a face-down creature can look at it at any time, even if it doesn't have morph. Other players can't, but the rules for face-down permanents state that "you must ensure at all times that your face-down spells and permanents can be easily differentiated from each other." As a result, all players must be able to figure out what each of the creatures Ixidron turned face down is.
  • Turning a face-down creature face-down typically has no effect; the creature's status is unchanged.
  • You turn the creatures face-down *as* Ixidron enters. There is never a moment when Ixidron is on the battlefield and the creatures are face-up. If a creature on the battlefield has a "whenever another creature enters" ability, it won't trigger because that creature will be face down before Ixidron enters.
  • Creatures turned face down by Ixidron are 2/2 creatures with no text, no name, no subtypes, no expansion symbol, and no mana cost. These values are copiable if an object becomes a copy of one of those creatures, and their normal values are not copiable.

    Rules

  • For spells with {X} in their mana costs, use the value chosen for X to determine the spell's mana value. For cards in your library with {X} in their mana costs, X is considered to be 0.
  • If Rashmi's ability resolves and the spell that caused it to trigger has been countered, use that spell's mana value as it last existed on the stack to determine whether or not you may cast the top card of your library.
  • If the card has {X} in its mana cost, you must choose 0 as the value of X when casting it without paying its mana cost.
  • If the revealed card is a land card, you put it into your hand.
  • If you cast a card "without paying its mana cost," you can't choose to cast it for any alternative costs, such as emerge costs. You can, however, pay additional costs. If the card has any mandatory additional costs, such as that of Cathartic Reunion, those must be paid to cast the card.
  • If you cast the top card of your library, you do so as part of the resolution of Rashmi's ability. You can't wait to cast it later in the turn. Timing permissions based on the card's type are ignored, but other restrictions (such as "Cast [this card] only during combat") are not.
  • Rashmi has to be on the battlefield at the moment you cast your first spell. If that spell is Rashmi itself, Rashmi's ability can't trigger. If that spell causes Rashmi to leave the battlefield as an additional cost to cast it, Rashmi's ability can't trigger.
  • Rashmi's ability resolves before the spell that caused it to trigger. If you cast a spell using the ability, it will also resolve before the initial spell.
  • Rashmi's ability triggers when you cast your first spell each turn, not just on your turn.

    Abilities/Keywords

    Deathtouch Lifelink

    Rules

  • Abilities that apply "as [this creature] enters the battlefield," such as choosing a color with Diamond Knight, are also unaffected.
  • If a permanent entering the battlefield at the same time as Yarok (including Yarok itself) causes a triggered ability of a permanent you control to trigger, that ability triggers an additional time.
  • If a triggered ability is linked to a second ability, additional instances of that triggered ability are also linked to that second ability. If the second ability refers to "the exiled card," it refers to all cards exiled by instances of the triggered ability.
  • If you somehow control two Yaroks, a permanent entering the battlefield causes abilities to trigger three times, not four. A third Yarok causes abilities to trigger four times, a fourth causes abilities to trigger five times, and so on.
  • In some cases involving linked abilities, an ability requires information about "the exiled card." When this happens, the ability gets multiple answers. If these answers are being used to determine the value of a variable, the sum is used. For example, if Elite Arcanist's enters-the-battlefield ability triggers twice, two cards are exiled. The value of X in the activation cost of Elite Arcanist's other ability is the sum of the two cards' mana values. As the ability resolves, you create copies of both cards and can cast none, one, or both of the copies in any order.
  • Replacement effects are unaffected by Yarok's ability. For example, a creature that enters the battlefield with one +1/+1 counter on it won't receive an additional +1/+1 counter.
  • Yarok affects a permanent's own enters-the-battlefield triggered abilities as well as other triggered abilities that trigger when that permanent enters the battlefield. Such triggered abilities start with "when" or "whenever."
  • Yarok's effect doesn't copy the triggered ability; it just causes the ability to trigger twice. Any choices made as you put the ability onto the stack, such as modes and targets, are made separately for each instance of the ability. Any choices made on resolution, such as whether to put counters on a permanent, are also made individually.
  • You don't need to control the permanent entering the battlefield, only the permanent that has the triggered ability.
