"Find me cards equivalent to: Lost to Legend"

Equivalent cards (same color, instant, similar effect) to Lost to Legend:
1. Declaration in Stone — Exiles target creature and all its copies, controller investigates.
2. Settle the Wreckage — Exiles all attacking creatures, controller searches lands.
3. Oust — Puts target creature on top of library, owner gains 3 life.
4. Realm-Cloaked Giant (Adventure: Cast Off) — Destroys all non-Giant creatures.
5. Oblivion Ring (although not Instant, it's a white removal for any nonland permanent).

All have white color, are removal, and most are Instants except where noted for alternatives. White rarely interacts with the library, so Lost to Legend is quite unique.

    Rules

  • A face-down creature, such as one cast with a megamorph ability from the Dragons of Tarkir set, has no name and can't share a name with any other creatures.
  • Clue is an artifact type. Even though it appears on some cards with other permanent types, it's never a creature type, a land type, or anything but an artifact type.
  • Declaration in Stone has only one target. The other creatures with that name aren't targeted. For example, a creature with hexproof will be exiled if it has the same name as the target creature.
  • If an effect refers to a Clue, it means any Clue artifact, not just a Clue artifact token. For example, you can sacrifice Wrench to pay for Alquist Proft, Master Sleuth's activated ability.
  • If the target creature is an illegal target when Declaration in Stone tries to resolve, it won't resolve and none of its effects will happen. No creatures will be exiled, including those with the same name as the target.
  • It's possible to have a creature and a noncreature permanent with the same name, such as two copies of the same land, one of which has become a land creature. Only creatures with that name are exiled by Declaration in Stone.
  • You can't sacrifice a Clue to pay multiple costs. For example, you can't sacrifice a Clue token to activate its own ability and also to activate Alquist Proft, Master Sleuth's ability.
  • Unless a token is a copy of another permanent or was explicitly given a name by the effect that created it, its name is the subtypes it was given when it was created plus the word "Token." For example, if an effect creates a 1/1 Soldier creature token, that token is named "Soldier Token."

    Rules

  • A card, spell, or permanent is historic if it has the legendary supertype, the artifact card type, or the Saga subtype. Having two of those qualities doesn't make an object more historic than another or provide an additional bonus—an object either is historic or it isn't.
  • An ability that triggers "whenever you cast a historic spell" doesn't trigger if a historic card is put onto the battlefield without being cast.
  • If the target permanent's controller has two or fewer cards left in their library when Lost to Legend resolves, that permanent becomes the bottom card of their library.
  • Lands are never cast, so abilities that trigger "whenever you cast a historic spell" won't trigger if you play a legendary land. They also won't trigger if a card on the battlefield transforms into a card with the legendary supertype, the artifact card type, or the Saga subtype.
  • Some abilities trigger "whenever you cast a historic spell." Such an ability resolves before the spell that caused it to trigger. It resolves even if that spell is countered.

    Rules

  • If Oblivion Ring leaves the battlefield before its first ability has resolved, its second ability will trigger and do nothing. Then its first ability will resolve and exile the targeted nonland permanent forever.
  • If there are no nonland permanents on the battlefield other than an Oblivion Ring, and the card it exiled was another Oblivion Ring, casting a third Oblivion Ring will result in an involuntary infinite loop that will end the game in a draw (unless someone chooses to break it by putting another nonland permanent onto the battlefield or destroying one of the Oblivion Rings, for example).
  • If the exiled card is an Aura, that card’s owner chooses what it will enchant as it comes back onto the battlefield. An Aura put onto the battlefield this way doesn’t target anything, but the Aura’s enchant ability restricts what it can be attached to. If the Aura can’t legally be attached to anything, it remains exiled forever.
  • Auras attached to the exiled permanent will be put into their owners’ graveyards. Equipment attached to the exiled permanent will become unattached and remain on the battlefield. Any counters on the exiled permanent will cease to exist.

  • If the targeted creature is an illegal target by the time Oust resolves, the spell doesn’t resolve. No one gains life.
  • If the targeted creature’s owner has no cards left in their library, that creature is put into that library as the only card there.
  • If the targeted creature’s owner has one or more cards in their library, that creature is put into that library directly under the top card.
  • Note that the creature’s controller, not its owner, is the one who gains life.

  • Settle the Wreckage targets only the player. Creatures with hexproof that player controls will be exiled as this spell resolves.
  • That player can find fewer basic land cards than the number of exiled creatures, whether because they want to or because they don’t have that many basic land cards left.
  • The number of lands that player may find is the number of attacking creatures that were exiled, even if some of those creatures were tokens, weren’t creature cards, or didn’t end up in exile (most likely because one was that player’s commander in the Commander variant).
