"Find me cards equivalent to: Mana Severance"

Equivalent cards:

  • Mana Severance (the searched card itself)
  • There are no direct equivalents with the exact effect (exiling any number of lands from your library) that are blue sorceries.
Cards with similar effects (but not exact):
  • Select for Inspection (returns a tapped creature, blue instant—not sorcery, not land-focused)
  • Land Grant (searches for a land, green, not blue, and only one land)

Reason: Mana Severance is unique in blue at sorcery speed with that precise effect. There is no exact blue sorcery replacement.

  • Because the “search” requires you to find a card with certain characteristics, you don’t have to find the card if you don’t want to.

If you have no land cards in hand, you may reveal your hand rather than pay this spell's mana cost. Search your library for a Forest card, reveal that card, put it into your hand, thenshuffle

Return target tapped creature to its owner's hand. Scry 1. (Look at the top card of your library. You may put that card on the bottom.)
