"Find me cards equivalent to: Mistmeadow Vanisher"

Equivalent cards to Mistmeadow Vanisher (Blue/White, exile/blink ability, usually on tapping or entering/leaving the battlefield):
1. Reflector Mage — (U, W) Returns a creature to its owner's hand and prevents recasting next turn. Not exile/blink, but similar removal tempo.
2. Venser, the Sojourner — (U, W) Planeswalker, blinks a permanent each turn.
3. Ephara's Dissenter — (U, W) On ETB, exiles another creature until this creature leaves.
4. Skyclave Apparition — (W) Exiles nonland, non-token permanent, controller gets a token when this leaves.
5. Flickerwisp — (W) ETB, exiles another permanent, returns at end step.

Reason: There's no card with that exact triggered ability on tap, but these have similar exile/blink effects within Blue/White.

  • Auras attached to the exiled permanent will be put into their owners' graveyards. Equipment attached to the exiled permanent will become unattached and remain on the battlefield. • If a token is exiled this way, it will cease to exist and won't return to the battlefield.
  • If the permanent that returns to the battlefield has any abilities that trigger at the beginning of the end step, those abilities won't trigger that turn.
  • The exiled card will return to the battlefield at the beginning of the end step even if Flickerwisp is no longer on the battlefield.

    Rules

  • If the returned creature had no name while it was on the battlefield (likely because the creature was face down), its owner can still cast face-down creature spells with morph or megamorph, or cast the same card face up, before your next turn.
  • In several cases, the name of the creature that was returned won’t match the name of that card once it’s back in its owner’s hand. For example, if the card was copying another creature, it will probably have a different name in its owner’s hand and can be cast again before your next turn. The same is true if a double-faced card with its back face up is returned to its owner’s hand this way.
  • Reflector Mage’s ability doesn’t stop any player from playing lands (in the case that the returned creature was also a land).

    Rules

  • If Skyclave Apparition leaves the battlefield before its first ability resolves, the ability still exiles the target permanent.
  • If Skyclave Apparition's first ability exiled more than one card owned by a single player, that player creates a token with power and toughness equal to the sum of those cards' mana values. If the first ability exiled cards owned by more than one player, each of those players creates a token with power and toughness equal to the sum of the mana values of all cards exiled by the first ability.
  • If a creature on the battlefield has {X} in its mana cost, X is considered to be 0.
  • If there's no exiled card when Skyclave Apparition leaves the battlefield (most likely because its first ability hasn't resolved yet), no player creates a token.

    Rules

  • A permanent exiled by the first ability will return to the battlefield under your control at the beginning of the next end step even if you no longer control Venser at that time.
  • Emblems behave similarly to enchantments: They have an ability that, in a general sense, continually affects the game. The primary difference between them is that emblems aren’t permanents and don’t exist on the battlefield. Nothing in the game can remove an emblem, simply because no other spell or ability references them. Once you get an emblem, you keep it for the rest of the game. Emblems have no color, name, card type, or other characteristics beyond the listed ability.
  • If the first ability exiles a token, that token will cease to exist. It won’t return to the battlefield.
  • If you control more than one such emblem, each one’s ability will trigger separately whenever you cast a spell.
  • The first ability can target any permanent you own, including those another player controls.
  • Venser’s last ability creates an emblem with a triggered ability. The emblem is the source of the triggered ability. Because emblems are colorless, you can target permanents with protection from white or from blue, for example, with the triggered ability.
  • Venser’s second ability doesn’t lock in what it applies to. That’s because the effect states a true thing about creatures, but doesn’t actually change the characteristics of those creatures. As a result, all creatures can’t be blocked that turn, including creatures you don’t control, creatures that weren’t on the battlefield at the time the ability resolved, and creatures that have lost all abilities.
  • Whenever you cast a spell, the emblem’s ability triggers and goes on the stack on top of it. It will resolve before the spell does.
