"Find me cards equivalent to: My Wish Is Your Command"

Equivalent cards in colorless that let you cast opponent's spells for free are rare. Closest equivalents are:

  • My Wish Is Your Command (original request)
  • Sen Triplets (lets you play a card from an opponent’s hand, but it's Esper colored)
  • Knowledge Pool (makes players cast exiled cards for free, colorless)
  • Mindslaver (artifact, lets you control another player's turn and cast their spells)

Reason: No other colorless scheme does exactly what My Wish Is Your Command does, but these are similar in effect or play pattern within colorless cards.

    Abilities/Keywords

    Rules

  • Any other abilities that trigger when you cast the original spell (for example, if you cast Emrakul, the Aeons Torn) will still trigger and go on the stack.
  • If multiple Knowledge Pools are on the battlefield, keep track of which cards are exiled by each of them. Whenever a player casts a spell from their hand: -- If all Knowledge Pools are controlled by the same player, that player chooses the order in which the triggered abilities are put onto the stack. The last one put onto the stack will be the first to resolve. -- If multiple players each control one or more Knowledge Pools, the active player put their triggered abilities on the stack in any order, then each other player in turn order does the same. The last ability put onto the stack this way will be the first to resolve. -- The first triggered ability to resolve will exile the original spell, then the player who cast that spell may cast one of the nonland cards exiled by the Knowledge Pool that generated that triggered ability. The abilities of other Knowledge Pools will do nothing when they resolve, as the original spell will already have been exiled.
  • If the card has any mandatory additional costs, as Kuldotha Rebirth does, you must pay them in order to cast the spell.
  • If the card you cast without paying its mana cost has an X in its mana cost, you must choose 0 as its value.
  • If the original spell isn't exiled (perhaps because it's countered by another spell or ability before Knowledge Pool's second triggered ability resolves), the rest of the ability does nothing. The player doesn't get to cast an exiled card.
  • If there are no nonland cards exiled by Knowledge Pool, the original spell is still exiled.
  • The spell a player casts from their hand won't resolve if it's exiled, even if that spell can't be countered by spells or abilities.
  • Timing restrictions based on the card's type are ignored. For example, you can cast an exiled creature card this way. Other restrictions, such as Spinal Embrace's "Cast Spinal Embrace only during combat" are not ignored.
  • You may cast any other card exiled by Knowledge Pool, including one owned by an opponent. Any card exiled by Knowledge Pool's "enters" ability or its other triggered ability may be cast.
  • You may pay additional costs, such as kicker costs, of the exiled card.

Imprint — When this artifact enters, each player exiles the top three cards of their library. Whenever a player casts a spell from their hand, that player exiles it. If the player does, they may cast a spell from among other cards exiled with this artifact without paying its mana cost.

    Rules

  • Controlling a player doesn't allow you to look at that player's sideboard. If an effect instructs that player to choose a card from outside the game, you can't have that player choose any card.
  • If the targeted player skips their next turn, you'll control the next turn the affected player actually takes.
  • In a Two-Headed Giant game, gaining control of a player causes you to gain control of each player on that team.
  • Multiple player-controlling effects that affect the same player overwrite each other. The last one to be created is the one that works.
  • The player you're controlling is still the active player during that turn.
  • While controlling another player, you also continue to make your own choices and decisions.
  • While controlling another player, you can see all cards in the game that player can see. This includes cards in that player's hand, face-down cards that player controls, and any cards in that player's library the player may look at.
  • While controlling another player, you make all choices and decisions that player is allowed to make or is told to make during that turn. This includes choices about what spells to cast or what abilities to activate, as well as any decisions called for by triggered abilities or for any other reason.
  • You also can't make any choices or decisions for the player that would be called for by the tournament rules (such as whether to take an intentional draw or whether to call a judge).
  • You can use only the affected player's resources (cards, mana, and so on) to pay costs for that player; you can't use your own. Similarly, you can use the affected player's resources only to pay that player's costs; you can't spend them on your costs.
  • You can't make any illegal decisions or illegal choices—you can't do anything that player couldn't do. You can't make choices or decisions for that player that aren't called for by the game rules or by any cards, permanents, spells, abilities, and so on. If an effect causes another player to make decisions that the affected player would normally make (such as Master Warcraft does), that effect takes precedence. In other words, if the affected player wouldn't make a decision, you wouldn't make that decision on that player's behalf.
  • You can't make the affected player concede. That player may choose to concede at any time, even while you're controlling that player.
  • You could gain control of yourself using Mindslaver, but gaining control of yourself doesn't really do anything.
  • You only control the player. You don't control any of that player's permanents, spells, or abilities.

    Rules

  • If you cast a card “without paying its mana cost,” the value of any X in the card’s mana cost must be 0. You can’t pay any alternative costs for that card. On the other hand, if the card has optional additional costs (such as kicker or replicate), you may pay those when you cast the card. If the card has mandatory additional costs (such as Fling does), you must pay those when you cast the card.
  • If you choose a card you can’t cast (because there are no legal targets for the spell, for example), nothing happens to it. It remains in its owner’s hand.
  • If you choose a card, you cast it as part of the resolution of this ability. Timing restrictions based on the card’s type are ignored. Other restrictions are not (such as “Cast [this card] only during your end step”).
  • You choose a total of one card, and that card can’t be a creature or a land.

At the beginning of your upkeep, choose target opponent. This turn, that player can't cast spells or activate abilities and plays with their hand revealed. You may play lands and cast spells from that player's hand this turn.
