"Find me cards equivalent to: Norn's Dominion"

Equivalent colorless Plane cards with similar board-impacting effects include:

  • Norn's Dominion (original reference)
  • The Fourth Sphere — Another colorless Plane — New Phyrexia from the same Planechase set; its effect is: At the beginning of your upkeep, sacrifice a nonartifact creature, and chaos makes each opponent discard a card.
  • Nyx — Instant and sorcery cards have constellation. (Also causes large-scale effects/board changes.)
  • The Æther Flues — Allows movement of creatures between players; chaos gives random creature control.

Reason: Plane cards are all colorless and unique in their effects, but several have board-changing or mass-removal-style effects like Norn's Dominion. None are strictly identical, but these are close in theme and impact.

  • A player’s devotion to a color is equal to the number of mana symbols of that color among the mana costs of permanents that player controls.
  • Nyx’s first ability will apply to nontoken creatures from the moment they enter the battlefield. Notably, a nontoken creature entering the battlefield will cause the constellation ability to trigger.
  • The chaos ability isn’t a mana ability. It uses the stack and can be responded to. You choose the color as the ability resolves. Once the ability starts resolving and you’ve chosen a color, it’s too late for anyone to respond and change your devotion to any color.

    Rules

  • A face-up plane card that's turned face down becomes a new object with no relation to its previous existence. In particular, it loses all counters it may have had.
  • A plane card is treated as if its text box included "When you roll {PW}, put this card on the bottom of its owner's planar deck face down, then move the top card of your planar deck off that planar deck and turn it face up." This is called the "planeswalking ability."
  • If an ability of a plane refers to "you," it's referring to whoever the plane's controller is at the time, not to the player that started the game with that plane card in their deck. Many abilities of plane cards affect all players, while many others affect only the planar controller, so read each ability carefully.
  • The controller of a face-up plane card is the player designated as the "planar controller." Normally, the planar controller is whoever the active player is. However, if the current planar controller would leave the game, instead the next player in turn order that wouldn't leave the game becomes the planar controller, then the old planar controller leaves the game. The new planar controller retains that designation until they leave the game or a different player becomes the active player, whichever comes first.
