3. Mirage Mirror — Can become a copy, but not automatic or enchantment-specific (colorless).

    Vigilance

    Rules

  • Although the Human tokens created by the triggered ability are attacking, they were never declared as attacking creatures (for the purposes of abilities that trigger whenever a creature attacks, for example).
  • Attacking with any creatures will cause Adeline's last ability to trigger. Adeline doesn't have to be among them.
  • The ability that defines Adeline's power works in all zones, not just the battlefield. As long as Adeline is on the battlefield (and still a creature), that ability will count Adeline itself.
  • Tokens will be created for each of your opponents, not just opponents that you attacked.
  • You choose whether each token is attacking that opponent or a planeswalker they control as those tokens enter the battlefield.

    Rules

  • All of the tokens enter the battlefield simultaneously. They’ll be created with the same name, color, type and subtype, abilities, power, toughness, and so on.
  • If an effect creates more than one kind of token, it’ll create twice as many of each kind. For example, if you cast Bestial Menace while controlling Anointed Procession, you’ll create two Snake tokens, two Wolf tokens, and two Elephant tokens.
  • If the effect creating the tokens instructs you to do something with those tokens at a later time, like exiling them at the end of combat, you’ll do that for all the tokens.
  • If the token you create has any “as [this permanent] enters the battlefield” or “[this permanent] enters the battlefield with” abilities, first determine how many tokens are being created, then apply those abilities individually for each one. For example, if a token with “You may have [this permanent] enter the battlefield as a copy of any creature on the battlefield” would be created (such as an embalmed Vizier of Many Faces), the resulting two tokens can each copy a different creature.
  • If you control two Anointed Processions, then the number of tokens created is four times the original number. If you control three, then the number of tokens created is eight times the original number, and so on.
  • There are many important moments in the story, but the most crucial—called “story spotlights”—are shown on cards. These cards have the Planeswalker symbol in their text box; this symbol has no effect on gameplay. You can read more about these events in the official Magic fiction at http://www.mtgstory.com.

Clever Impersonator #8 Creature — Shapeshifter

    Rules

  • Any enters-the-battlefield abilities of the chosen permanent will trigger when Clever Impersonator enters the battlefield. Any "as [this permanent] enters the battlefield" or "[this permanent] enters the battlefield with" abilities of the chosen permanent will also work.
  • Clever Impersonator copies exactly what is printed on the chosen permanent (unless that permanent is copying something else or is a token; see below). It doesn't copy whether that permanent is tapped or untapped, whether that permanent has any counters on it or any Auras and/or Equipment attached to it, and it doesn't copy any non-copy effects that have changed that permanent's power, toughness, types, color, abilities, or so on.
  • If Clever Impersonator enters the battlefield as a copy of a planeswalker, it will enter the battlefield with a number of loyalty counters on it equal to the loyalty printed in the lower right corner of the planeswalker card. It won't copy the number of loyalty counters on the original planeswalker.
  • If Clever Impersonator enters the battlefield at the same time as another permanent, it can't become a copy of that permanent. You may choose only a nonland permanent that's already on the battlefield.
  • If the chosen permanent has {X} in its mana cost, X is considered to be 0.
  • If the chosen permanent is a copy of something else (for example, if the chosen permanent is another Clever Impersonator), then your Clever Impersonator enters the battlefield as whatever the chosen permanent copied.
  • If the chosen permanent is a token, Clever Impersonator copies the original characteristics of that token as defined by the effect that put that token onto the battlefield. Clever Impersonator is not a token.
  • Remember that if you control more than one legendary permanent with the same name, you'll choose one to remain on the battlefield and put the rest into their owner's graveyard.
  • You can choose not to copy anything. In that case, Clever Impersonator enters the battlefield as a 0/0 creature, and it's put into the graveyard immediately (unless something is raising its toughness above 0).
  • You choose which nonland permanent Clever Impersonator will copy, if any, as it enters the battlefield. This doesn't target that nonland permanent.

    Mirage Mirror #7025 Artifact

    Info

    Types:

    Saltiness:

    Rules

  • If Mirage Mirror becomes a copy of a legendary permanent you control, you'll put one of them into your graveyard.
  • If Mirage Mirror becomes a copy of an Aura, it's put into its owner's graveyard unless it's somehow attached to an appropriate object or player already. If it becomes a copy of an Equipment and is attached to a creature, it'll become unattached when it becomes a non-Equipment artifact again.
  • If Mirage Mirror becomes a creature the same turn it enters the battlefield, you can't attack with it or use any of its {T} abilities (if it gains any) unless it has haste.
  • If Mirage Mirror copies a permanent that's copying something else, it will become whatever the target is copying.
  • If an effect begins to apply to Mirage Mirror before it becomes a copy of another permanent, that effect will continue to apply. For example, if Mirage Mirror is activated twice in response to itself targeting first Rampaging Hippo then Frilled Sandwalla, the ability it has while it's a copy of Frilled Sandwalla can be activated and its effect will continue to apply while Mirage Mirror is a copy of Rampaging Hippo.
  • If you activate Mirage Mirror's ability multiple times in a turn in response to itself, then each time one of those abilities resolves, it will overwrite whatever Mirage Mirror is copying. Mirage Mirror will wind up as a copy of the permanent targeted by the last ability to resolve. When the turn ends, all instances of the ability will wear off at the same time.
  • Mirage Mirror copies the printed values of the target permanent, plus any copy effects that have been applied to it. It won't copy counters on that permanent or effects that have changed its power, toughness, types, color, or so on. Notably, it won't copy effects that made the target permanent become a creature.
  • Once Mirage Mirror's ability resolves, it no longer has that ability.

    Rules

  • Any enters-the-battlefield abilities of the copied enchantment will trigger when the token enters the battlefield. Any "as [this enchantment] enters the battlefield" or "[this enchantment] enters the battlefield with" abilities of the enchantment will also work.
  • Each token copies exactly what was printed on the original enchantment and nothing else (unless that enchantment is copying something else or is a token; see below). It doesn't copy whether that enchantment is tapped or untapped, whether it has any counters on it or Auras and Equipment attached to it, or any non-copy effects that have changed its power, toughness, types, color, or so on.
  • If an Aura is put onto the battlefield without being cast, such as by being created as a token, the Aura's controller-to-be chooses what it will enchant as it enters the battlefield. An Aura put onto the battlefield this way doesn't target anything (so it could be attached to an opponent's permanent with hexproof, for example), but the Aura's enchant ability restricts what it can be attached to. If an Aura token can't legally be attached to anything, it isn't created.
  • If multiple instances of the ability are on the stack (perhaps because multiple enchantments entered the battlefield under your control at the same time), you will be able to create a token copy of an enchantment for only one of those instances. Once you do that, other instances will do nothing as they resolve.
  • If the copied enchantment has {X} in its mana cost, X is 0.
  • If the copied enchantment is a token, the token that's created copies the original characteristics of that token as stated by the effect that created the token.
  • If the copied enchantment is copying something else, then the token enters the battlefield as whatever that enchantment copied.
  • Once you choose to create a token copy of an enchantment during the resolution of Ondu Spiritdancer's ability, that ability won't trigger again that turn, no matter how many more enchantments enter the battlefield under your control.
