“Plot” is a new mechanic from Outlaws of Thunder Junction. Cards with plot are typically spells you exile and cast later for a reduced cost. For equivalent cards in a general sense (delayed casting, value over time), look at cards with the Foretell mechanic, like “Behold the Multiverse,” or cards with Suspend, like “Ancestral Vision.” These are similar because they let you pay in advance and cast the spell later.
