AI 🤖 Find me cards equivalent to: Quest for Ula's Temple

Equivalent cards to Quest for Ula's Temple (blue enchantments that interact with sea creatures or cheat big creatures into play):
1. Lurking Predators (green, similar effect but for creatures in general, not blue/sea creatures) – not mono-blue
2. Back from the Brink (blue, exiles creatures from graveyard for tokens, not quite as direct)
3. Rapid Hybridization (blue, interacts with creatures but not an enchantment or for big monsters)
4. Call to the Kindred (blue; similar–cheats creatures onto battlefield at upkeep from library)
5. Ilharg, the Raze-Boar (red, not blue, cheats creatures)
Best match: Call to the Kindred

Reason: Call to the Kindred is a blue enchantment that puts creature cards with the same creature type directly onto the battlefield, similar to cheating Krakens/Leviathans/Serpents with Quest for Ula’s Temple.

  • Although you're paying the card's mana cost, you aren't casting that card. Abilities that reduce the cost to cast a creature spell won't apply, and additional costs to cast that creature can't be paid. Alternative costs that affect what it costs to cast a creature spell, such as evoke, can't.
  • Any "enters" abilities of the creature will trigger when the token enters. Any "as [this creature] enters" or "[this creature] enters with" abilities of the creature will also work.
  • If the exiled creature card has {X} in its mana cost, X is considered to be zero.
  • If you exile a double-faced creature card this way, you'll pay the mana cost of the front face. The token will be a copy of the front face and it won't be able to transform.

Enchant creature At the beginning of your upkeep, you may look at the top five cards of your library. If you do, you may put a creature card that shares a creature type with enchanted creature from among them onto the battlefield, then you put the rest of those cards on the bottom of your library in any order.

    Abilities/Keywords

    Trample

    Rules

  • Although the new creature is attacking, it was never declared as an attacking creature (for the purposes of abilities that trigger whenever a creature attacks, for example, such as those of Trusted Pegasus and Makeshift Battalion).
  • If an effect exiles the God and immediately returns it to the battlefield, its last ability triggers but will have no effect. However, if an effect exiles it and would return it to the battlefield at a later time, the God's ability may return that card to its owner's library first. If it does, the effect that exiled it won't return it later.
  • If one of these Gods dies and it's your commander, you may put it into the command zone before its ability puts it into your library. If you save your commander this way, it won't put it into your library. The same is true if it would be exiled.
  • If one of these Gods leaves the graveyard or exile while its last ability is on the stack, it will remain in its new zone, even if that zone is a graveyard or exile.
  • If the God's owner has two or fewer cards in their library, the God is put on the bottom of their library as its last ability resolves.
  • If the new creature has an ability that triggers at the beginning of the end step, that ability will trigger and resolve even if the creature is returned to your hand during the end step before that ability resolves.
  • If the new creature leaves the battlefield before the end step, most likely because it died in combat, that card remains in its current zone. It won't return to your hand.
  • If you control another player's God when it dies, you decide whether to put that card into its owner's library.
  • In a multiplayer game, if you put another player's God onto the battlefield under your control, it will be exiled as you leave the game. If you were still the controller of that God, you would control its triggered ability but you have left the game; that ability won't resolve and the card remains in exile. Similarly, if you lose the game at the same time that another player's God that you put onto the battlefield is destroyed, it remains in its owner's graveyard.
  • You choose which player, planeswalker, or battle the new creature is attacking. It doesn't have to be attacking the same player, planeswalker, or battle that Ilharg is attacking.

    Rules

  • A "creature card" is any card with the type creature, even if it has other types such as artifact, enchantment, or land. Older cards of type summon are also creature cards.
  • If an opponent casts a spell, this ability triggers and is put on the stack on top of that spell. This ability will resolve (meaning that a revealed creature card will enter) before the spell resolves.
  • You must put the revealed card onto the battlefield if it's a creature card. If it's not a creature card and you don't put it on the bottom of your library, it stops being revealed and simply remains on top of your library.

  • If an ability (from Future Sight or Oracle of Mul Daya, for example) causes you to play with the top card of your library revealed, you may still put a quest counter on Quest for Ula’s Temple when the first ability resolves if the top card of your library is a creature card.
  • When the first ability resolves, you may look at the top card of your library. If you don’t, nothing happens. If you look at it and it’s not a creature card, it simply stays hidden. If you look at it and it is a creature card, you may reveal it and put a quest counter on Quest for Ula’s Temple, or you may choose to leave it hidden. In all cases, the card remains on top of your library.
