"Find me cards equivalent to: Shepherd of the Cosmos"

Equivalent cards to Shepherd of the Cosmos (white, returns a small permanent from your graveyard):
1. Sun Titan — Returns a permanent with mana value 3 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield (also white).
2. Reveillark — When it leaves the battlefield, returns up to two creatures with power 2 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield (also white).
3. Rescue Retriever — Not a direct return, but returns creatures from your graveyard if another dies (also white).
4. Bishop of Rebirth — When it attacks, returns a creature card with mana value 3 or less to the battlefield (also white).

All are white creatures that can return small permanents/creatures. Shepherd of the Cosmos specifically returns a permanent card, so Sun Titan is the closest, but the rest are strong alternatives.

    Vigilance

    Rules

  • All attackers are chosen at once. You can’t attack with Bishop of Rebirth, return a creature card to the battlefield, and then attack with that creature.
  • If the creature returned to the battlefield has any abilities that trigger when creatures attack, those abilities won’t trigger.
  • If the mana cost of a card in your graveyard includes X, X is considered to be 0.

    Flash

    Rules

  • If Rescue Retriever leaves the battlefield before combat damage is dealt to your other attacking Soldiers, they will take damage as normal. Notably, this means it is usually a bad idea to attack with Rescue Retriever if your opponent could block it with a creature that has first strike and enough power to kill it.
  • Rescue Retriever prevents damage to other attacking Soldiers even if it isn't also attacking.

    Evoke Flying

    Rules

  • Effects that cause you to pay more or less to cast a spell will cause you to pay that much more or less while casting it for its evoke cost, too. That's because they affect the total cost of the spell, not its mana cost.
  • Evoke doesn't change the timing of when you can cast the creature that has it. If you could cast that creature spell only when you could cast a sorcery, the same is true for cast it with evoke.
  • If a creature spell cast with evoke changes controllers before it enters, it will still be sacrificed when it enters. Similarly, if a creature cast with evoke changes controllers after it enters but before its sacrifice ability resolves, it will still be sacrificed. In both cases, the controller of the creature at the time it left the battlefield will control its leaves-the-battlefield ability.
  • If you're casting a spell "without paying its mana cost," you can't use its evoke ability.
  • When you cast a spell by paying its evoke cost, its mana cost doesn't change. You just pay the evoke cost instead.
  • Whether evoke's sacrifice ability triggers when the creature enters depends on whether the spell's controller chose to pay the evoke cost, not whether they actually paid it (if it was reduced or otherwise altered by another ability, for example).
  • Reveillark's ability may target zero, one, or two creature cards in your graveyard. Each target must have power 2 or less.

    Flying Foretell

    Rules

  • A permanent card is an artifact, creature, enchantment, land, or planeswalker card.
  • Because exiling a card with foretell from your hand is a special action, you can do so any time you have priority during your turn, including in response to spells and abilities. Once you announce you’re taking the action, no other player can respond by trying to remove the card from your hand.
  • Casting a foretold card from exile follows the timing rules for that card. If you foretell an instant card, you can cast it as soon as the next player’s turn. In most cases, if you foretell a card that isn’t an instant (or doesn’t have flash), you’ll have to wait until your next turn to cast it.
  • If the mana cost of a card in your graveyard includes {X}, X is considered to be 0.
  • If you return an Aura this way, you choose what the Aura will enchant just before it enters the battlefield. An Aura returning to the battlefield this way doesn’t target the player or permanent it will enchant, so permanents or players with hexproof may be chosen; however, the chosen recipient must be able to legally be enchanted by the Aura, so a player or permanent with protection from one of the Aura’s qualities can’t be chosen this way. If there’s nothing legal for the Aura to enchant, it stays in the graveyard.
  • If you’re casting a foretold card from exile for its foretell cost, you can’t choose to cast it for any other alternative costs. You can, however, pay additional costs, such as kicker costs. If the card has any mandatory additional costs, those must be paid to cast the spell.

    Vigilance

    Rules

  • A permanent card is an artifact, creature, enchantment, land, or planeswalker card.
  • If a card in your graveyard has no mana symbols in its upper right corner (because it's a land card, for example), its mana value is 0.
  • If the mana cost of a card in your graveyard includes {X}, X is considered to be 0.
  • The mana value of a card in your graveyard is determined solely by the mana symbols printed in its upper right corner. The mana value is the total amount of mana in that cost, regardless of color. For example, a card with mana cost {3}{U}{U} has mana value 5.
