"Find me cards equivalent to: Spring-Leaf Avenger"

Equivalent cards in green (with similar effects or mechanics as Spring-Leaf Avenger):
1. Spring-Leaf Avenger (your searched card)
2. Eternal Witness — Also returns a card from graveyard to hand.
3. Regrowth — Returns any card from your graveyard to your hand (not a creature, but similar effect).
4. Timeless Witness — Creature with enters-the-battlefield graveyard recursion, plus eternalize.
5. Cemetery Prowler — Graveyard interaction, though it exiles.

Reason: These green cards focus on graveyard recursion, matching the Avenger's main effect. Only Spring-Leaf Avenger has Ninjutsu. No other green creature currently has Ninjutsu (as of June 2024).

    Abilities/Keywords

    Vigilance

    Rules

  • Card types that can be exiled from a graveyard include artifact, creature, enchantment, land, planeswalker, instant, and sorcery. Legendary, basic, and snow are supertypes, not card types. Human, Equipment, and Aura are subtypes, not card types.
  • Cemetery Prowler's last ability checks the number of card types among cards exiled with it, not the number of cards exiled. For example, if Cemetery Prowler has exiled two creature cards, creature spells you cast cost {1} less, not {2} less.

    Abilities/Keywords

    Ninjutsu

    Rules

  • Although the Ninja is attacking, it was never declared as an attacking creature (for purposes of abilities that trigger whenever a creature attacks, for example).
  • As you activate a ninjutsu ability, you reveal the Ninja card in your hand and return the attacking creature. The Ninja card stays revealed and isn't put onto the battlefield until the ability resolves. If it leaves your hand before then, it won't enter the battlefield at all.
  • If a creature in combat has first strike or double strike, you can activate the ninjutsu ability during the first-strike combat damage step. The Ninja will deal combat damage during the regular combat damage step, even if it has first strike.
  • Puff of smoke not included.
  • The creature with ninjutsu enters the battlefield attacking the same player or planeswalker that the returned creature was attacking. This is a rule specific to ninjutsu; in other cases, when a creature is put onto the battlefield attacking, that creature's controller chooses which player or planeswalker it's attacking.
  • The ninjutsu ability can be activated during the declare blockers step, combat damage step, or end of combat step. In most cases (see below), if you wait until the combatdamage step or end of combat step, it will be after combat damage has been dealt, so the Ninja won't deal combat damage.
  • The ninjutsu ability can be activated only after blockers have been declared. Before then, attacking creatures are neither blocked nor unblocked.

    Abilities/Keywords

    Eternalize

    Rules

  • If a creature card with eternalize is put into your graveyard during your main phase, you'll have priority immediately afterward. You can activate its eternalize ability before any player can try to exile it.
  • Once you've activated an eternalize ability, the card is immediately exiled. Opponents can't try to stop the ability by exiling the card.
  • The token copies exactly what was printed on the original card and nothing else, except the characteristics specifically modified by eternalize. It doesn't copy any information about the object the card was before it was put into your graveyard.
  • The token is a Zombie in addition to its other types and is black instead of its other colors. Its base power and toughness are 4/4. It has no mana cost, and thus its mana value is 0. These are copiable values of the token that other effects may copy.
