"Find me cards equivalent to: Suit Up"

Equivalent cards to Suit Up (Instant, Blue, draw & temporary creature boost) are:
1. Artful Dodge (U, Instant, gives unblockable, draws a card when flashed back) — not a boost, but similar cantrip.
2. Slip Out the Back (U, Instant, puts a +1/+1 counter, phases out, no draw) — protection, not card draw.
3. Of One Mind (2U, Sorcery, draw two cards, cheaper with Human/Non-Human) — Blue instant/sorcery cantrip.
4. Preordain (U, Sorcery, scry 2, draw a card) — closest in blue for 1-mana draw.

Blue doesn't typically turn creatures into 4/5s at instant speed and draw a card, so Suit Up is fairly unique. You might also look at Renegade Tactics (red) and Maximize Velocity (red), but for mono-blue instants, nothing matches exactly except Suit Up itself.

    Flashback

    Rules

  • A spell cast using flashback will always be exiled afterward, whether it resolves, is countered, or leaves the stack in some other way.
  • If a card with flashback is put into your graveyard during your turn, you can cast it if it’s legal to do so before any other player can take any actions.
  • To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost (such as a flashback cost) you’re paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions. The mana value of the spell is determined only by its mana cost, no matter what the total cost to cast the spell was.
  • You can cast a spell using flashback even if it was somehow put into your graveyard without having been cast.
  • You must still follow any timing restrictions and permissions, including those based on the card’s type. For instance, you can cast a sorcery using flashback only when you could normally cast a sorcery.
  • “Flashback [cost]” means “You may cast this card from your graveyard by paying [cost] rather than paying its mana cost” and “If the flashback cost was paid, exile this card instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack.”

  • A spell cast using jump-start will always be exiled afterward, whether it resolves, it's countered, or it leaves the stack in some other way.
  • If a card with jump-start is put into your graveyard during your turn, you'll be able to cast it right away if it's legal to do so, before an opponent can take any actions.
  • If an effect allows you to pay an alternative cost rather than a spell's mana cost, you may pay that alternative cost when you jump-start a spell. You'll still discard a card as an additional cost to cast it.
  • You must still follow any timing restrictions and permissions when casting a spell with jump-start, including those based on the card's type. For instance, you can cast a sorcery using jump-start only when you could normally cast a sorcery.

  • Of One Mind is unaffected if you no longer control a Human and non-Human creature after you've cast it.
  • Once you announce that you're casting Of One Mind, no player may take actions until the spell has been paid for. Notably, opponents can't try to change whether you control a Human and a non-Human creature.
  • To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost you're paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions (such as that of Of One Mind). The mana value of the spell remains unchanged, no matter what the total cost to cast it was.

  • An attacking or blocking creature that phases out is removed from combat.
  • Any continuous effects with a “for as long as” duration, such as that of Extraction Specialist, ignore phased-out objects. If ignoring those objects causes the effect's conditions to no longer be met, the duration will expire.
  • As a creature is phased out, Auras and Equipment attached to it also phase out at the same time. Those Auras and Equipment will phase in at the same time that creature does, and they'll phase in still attached to that creature.
  • Choices made for permanents as they entered the battlefield are remembered when they phase in.
  • Permanents phase back in during their controller's untap step, immediately before that player untaps their permanents. Creatures that phase in this way are able to attack and pay a cost of {T} during that turn. If a permanent had counters on it when it phased out, it will have those counters when it phases back in.
  • Phased-out permanents are treated as though they don't exist. They can't be the target of spells or abilities, their static abilities have no effect on the game, their triggered abilities can't trigger, they can't attack or block, and so on.
  • Phasing out doesn't cause any “leaves the battlefield” abilities to trigger. Similarly, phasing in won't cause any “enters the battlefield” abilities to trigger.

  • If Suit Up causes a Vehicle to become an artifact creature, it doesn't count as “crewing” that Vehicle for any ability that would trigger off of a Vehicle becoming crewed.
  • Suit Up will overwrite any previous effects that set the creature or Vehicle's power and toughness to specific numbers. Effects that otherwise modify its power and toughness will still apply no matter when they took effect. The same is true for +1/+1 counters.
