"Find me cards equivalent to: Sunforger"

Equivalent cards to Sunforger (Artifact — Equipment, colorless, with card selection/casting):
1. Sunforger – Your searched card.
2. Tajic's Cluestone – Colorless, Boros, but only ramps and draws, not truly equivalent.
3. Gate to the Afterlife – Artifact with a search ability, but not for instants or equipment.
4. Coveted Jewel – Card draw and colorless, not card selection.

Conclusion:
No card does exactly what Sunforger does (tutoring and casting instant spells from your library, on a colorless equipment). Most other equipment focuses on stat boosts or other abilities, not spell tutoring. Sunforger is unique in its effect.

  • Coveted Jewel's last ability resolves after blockers are chosen but before combat damage is dealt.
  • Coveted Jewel's last ability triggers after you declare blockers (or declare no blockers at all) if any attacking creatures are unblocked. It doesn't matter if some attacking creatures were blocked.
  • If more than one opponent attacks you at the same time, Coveted Jewel's last ability triggers for each of them. You choose which player ends up with Coveted Jewel, but each of them draws three cards and has a chance to activate its mana ability.
