Equivalent cards to Termination Facilitator (black, Human, counters-related):
1. Leech Bonder (moves counters, also works with -1/-1)
2. Charmed Clothier (distributes +1/+1 counters, but different flexibility)
3. Hex Parasite (removes counters, versatile, black artifact creature)
4. Vizier of Remedies (prevents -1/-1 counter placement, white but synergistic)

    Rules

  • A permanent can have multiple Roles attached to it if each one is controlled by a different player.
  • Cards in the Wilds of Eldraine main set create six different Role tokens: Cursed, Monster, Royal, Sorcerer, Wicked, and Young Hero. A seventh Role token, Virtuous, is created by Ellivere of the Wild Court, the commander of the “Virtue and Valor” Commander Deck.
  • Hexproof and shroud won’t prevent a Role from becoming attached to a permanent if the ability creating that Role attached to that permanent doesn’t target it.
  • If a permanent has more than one Role attached to it controlled by the same player, each of those Roles except the one with the most recent timestamp is put into its owner’s graveyard. This is a state-based action.
  • If two or more Roles controlled by the same player become attached to a permanent at the same time (perhaps due to an effect such as that of Doubling Season), that player chooses which one to keep and which are put into their owners’ graveyards.
  • In rare cases, a spell or ability might attempt to create a Role token enchanting a permanent that it can’t legally enchant (because of an ability like protection from enchantments). In such cases, the Role token isn’t created.
  • Roles are colorless enchantment tokens. Each one has the Aura and Role subtypes and the enchant creature ability.
  • Some spells and abilities that create Role tokens require targets. If each target chosen is an illegal target as that spell or ability tries to resolve, it won’t resolve. The Role token won’t be created.

    Rules

  • If a creature with an {Q} ability hasn’t been under your control since your most recent turn began, you can’t activate that ability, unless the creature has haste.
  • If either one of the target creatures becomes an illegal target (because it left the battlefield or for any other reason), the counter doesn’t move. If both targets become illegal, the ability doesn’t resolve.
  • If the permanent is already untapped, you can’t activate its {Q} ability. That’s because you can’t pay the “Untap this permanent” cost.
  • Leech Bonder’s activated ability can move any kind of counter, not just a -1/-1 counter. It can target any two creatures, whether they have counters on them or not.
  • This effect may result in a useless counter being placed on a creature. For example, if an age counter is moved from a creature with cumulative upkeep to a creature without cumulative upkeep, it will have no effect on the new creature.
  • When you activate an {Q} ability, you untap the creature with that ability as a cost. The untap can’t be responded to. (The actual ability can be responded to, of course.)

Vizier of Remedies #38 Creature — Human Cleric

    Rules

  • Each additional Vizier of Remedies you control will decrease the number of -1/-1 counters put on a creature by one.
  • If a creature you control is dealt damage by a source with wither or infect, that much damage is dealt, but one fewer -1/-1 counter is put on your creature. For example, if a 2/2 creature with lifelink and infect is blocked by Vizier of Remedies, the first creature’s controller gains 2 life and puts one -1/-1 counter on Vizier of Remedies.
  • If an effect puts Vizier of Remedies onto the battlefield with one or more -1/-1 counters on it, its effect won’t apply. This is because you must control Vizier of Remedies before the creature begins to enter the battlefield for its effect to apply. The same is true of any creatures entering the battlefield with -1/-1 counters on them at the same time as Vizier of Remedies enters the battlefield.
  • If multiple creatures with wither and/or infect deal damage to a creature at once, Vizier of Remedies causes only one counter fewer to be put on that creature. Its effect doesn’t apply separately for each creature dealing damage.
  • “Put on a creature you control” includes that creature entering the battlefield with -1/-1 counters on it. If a creature would enter the battlefield under your control with a number of -1/-1 counters on it while you control Vizier of Remedies, it enters with that many counters minus one.
