"Find me cards equivalent to: Uba Mask"

Equivalent cards to Uba Mask with similar type (Artifact), color (Colorless), and card-draw or exile manipulation effects:
1. Knowledge Pool — Exiles spells as they are cast, allows casting exiled cards.
2. Alhammarret's Archive — Manipulates draw effects (not exile, but affects card draw interaction).
3. Muse Vessel — Exiles cards from a hand and allows casting them.
4. Elkin Bottle — Exiles top card, lets you play it that turn.
5. Candlekeep Inspiration — Less related, but interacts with exiled cards (for reference).

All these are colorless artifacts that interact with exile and/or casting from exile, similar to Uba Mask, but none exactly replace it.

  • Because Alhammarret’s Archive is legendary, it’s unlikely that one player will control two. However, if that happens, life gained by that player will be multiplied by four. Three Archives will multiply that life gain by eight, and so on.
  • If an effect would set your life total to a specific number that’s higher than your current life total, that effect would cause you to gain life equal to the difference. Alhammarret’s Archive will then double the amount of life that effect would cause you to gain. For example, if you have 3 life and an effect says that your life total “becomes 10,” your life total will actually become 17.
  • If two or more replacement effects would apply to a card-drawing event, the player drawing the card chooses the order in which to apply them.
  • In a Two-Headed Giant game, only the controller of Alhammarret’s Archive is affected by it. If that player’s teammate gains life, Alhammarret’s Archive will have no effect, even when that life gain is applied to the team’s shared life total.
  • Similarly, the effects of the last abilities of multiple Archives are cumulative. If you control two, you’ll draw four times the number of cards, and so on.

    Rules

  • If the Bottle leaves the battlefield or your control, the cards remain waiting until played or until the beginning of your next upkeep. The card is in the “Exile” zone.
  • The card is not part of your hand in any way. You can’t be forced to discard it due to a discard from hand effect, and you can’t discard it to pay a cost.
  • This is not considered to be drawing a card.
  • To “play a card” is to either cast a spell or to put a land onto the battlefield using the main phase special action.
  • If you do not play the card before your next upkeep, it remains exiled; you just lose the ability to play it.
  • The exiled card is played using the normal timing rules for its card type, as well as any other applicable restrictions such as “Cast [this card] only during combat.” For example, you can’t play the card during an opponent’s turn unless it’s an instant or has flash. Similarly, if the exiled card is a land, you can’t play it if you’ve already played a land that turn. If it’s a nonland card, you’ll have to pay its mana cost. The only thing that’s different is you’re playing it from the Exile zone.

    Abilities/Keywords

    Rules

  • Any other abilities that trigger when you cast the original spell (for example, if you cast Emrakul, the Aeons Torn) will still trigger and go on the stack.
  • If multiple Knowledge Pools are on the battlefield, keep track of which cards are exiled by each of them. Whenever a player casts a spell from their hand: -- If all Knowledge Pools are controlled by the same player, that player chooses the order in which the triggered abilities are put onto the stack. The last one put onto the stack will be the first to resolve. -- If multiple players each control one or more Knowledge Pools, the active player put their triggered abilities on the stack in any order, then each other player in turn order does the same. The last ability put onto the stack this way will be the first to resolve. -- The first triggered ability to resolve will exile the original spell, then the player who cast that spell may cast one of the nonland cards exiled by the Knowledge Pool that generated that triggered ability. The abilities of other Knowledge Pools will do nothing when they resolve, as the original spell will already have been exiled.
  • If the card has any mandatory additional costs, as Kuldotha Rebirth does, you must pay them in order to cast the spell.
  • If the card you cast without paying its mana cost has an X in its mana cost, you must choose 0 as its value.
  • If the original spell isn't exiled (perhaps because it's countered by another spell or ability before Knowledge Pool's second triggered ability resolves), the rest of the ability does nothing. The player doesn't get to cast an exiled card.
  • If there are no nonland cards exiled by Knowledge Pool, the original spell is still exiled.
  • The spell a player casts from their hand won't resolve if it's exiled, even if that spell can't be countered by spells or abilities.
  • Timing restrictions based on the card's type are ignored. For example, you can cast an exiled creature card this way. Other restrictions, such as Spinal Embrace's "Cast Spinal Embrace only during combat" are not ignored.
  • You may cast any other card exiled by Knowledge Pool, including one owned by an opponent. Any card exiled by Knowledge Pool's "enters" ability or its other triggered ability may be cast.
  • You may pay additional costs, such as kicker costs, of the exiled card.
