AI 🤖 Find me cards equivalent to: Urborg Scavengers

Equivalent cards to Urborg Scavengers (black, exile from graveyard for value):
1. Scavenging Ooze — Green, but similar effect (exile for counters).
2. Soul-Guide Lantern — Colorless, exiles cards for value.
3. Eater of the Dead — Black, exile creatures from graveyards.
4. Necrotic Ooze — Black, gets abilities of creatures in graveyards (not exile, but interacts with graveyards).
5. Grim Haruspex — Black, interacts with creatures dying, not exiling but similar value.

Closest black equivalents: Eater of the Dead, Nightmare Shepherd (value from dying creatures), but none are exact outside green.

Reason:
Exiling cards from graveyards for incremental value is rare in black outside Urborg Scavengers—most similar effects are in green.

    Morph

    Rules

  • A permanent that turns face up or face down changes characteristics but is otherwise the same permanent. Spells and abilities that were targeting that permanent, as well as Auras and Equipment that were attached to the permanent, aren't affected.
  • Any time you have priority, you may turn the face-down creature face up by revealing what its morph cost is and paying that cost. This is a special action. It doesn't use the stack and can't be responded to. Only a face-down permanent can be turned face up this way; a face-down spell cannot.
  • At any time, you can look at a face-down spell or permanent you control. You can't look at face-down spells or permanents you don't control unless an effect instructs you to do so.
  • Because the permanent is on the battlefield both before and after it's turned face up, turning a permanent face up doesn't cause any enters-the-battlefield abilities to trigger.
  • If a face-down permanent leaves the battlefield, you must reveal it. You must also reveal all face-down spells and permanents you control if you leave the game or if the game ends.
  • Morph lets you cast a card face down by paying {3}, and lets you turn the face-down permanent face up any time you have priority by paying its morph cost.
  • The face-down spell has no mana cost and has a mana value of 0. When you cast a face-down spell, put it on the stack face down so no other player knows what it is, and pay {3}. This is an alternative cost.
  • When the spell resolves, it enters the battlefield as a 2/2 creature with no name, mana cost, creature types, or abilities. It's colorless and has a mana value of 0. Other effects that apply to the creature can still grant it any of these characteristics.
  • You must ensure that your face-down spells and permanents can easily be differentiated from each other. You're not allowed to mix up the cards that represent them on the battlefield in order to confuse other players. The order they entered the battlefield should remain clear. Common methods for doing this include using markers or dice, or simply placing them in order on the battlefield.

  • Activated abilities contain a colon. They're generally written "[Cost]: [Effect]." Some keywords are activated abilities; they have colons in their reminder text.
  • If an activated ability of a card in a graveyard references the card it's printed on by name, treat Necrotic Ooze's version of that ability as though it referenced Necrotic Ooze by name instead. For example, if Cudgel Troll (which says "{G}: Regenerate Cudgel Troll") is in a graveyard, Necrotic Ooze has the ability "{G}: Regenerate Necrotic Ooze."
  • Necrotic Ooze gains only activated abilities. It doesn't gain keyword abilities (unless those keyword abilities are activated), triggered abilities, or static abilities.

    Abilities/Keywords

    Flying

    Rules

  • Any enters-the-battlefield abilities of the copied creature will trigger when the token enters the battlefield. Any "as [this creature] enters the battlefield" or "[this creature] enters the battlefield with" abilities of the creature will also work.
  • If something becomes a copy of the token, the copy is also a 1/1 and a Nightmare.
  • If the copied creature had {X} in its mana cost, X is considered to be 0.
  • If the copied creature was copying something else, then the token enters the battlefield as whatever that creature copied.
  • If the token is a copy of a creature whose power and toughness are defined by an ability (usually printed as */* or similar), the token doesn't copy the ability that defines its power and toughness. It remains a 1/1 creature.
  • The token copies exactly what was printed on the original creature and nothing else (unless that creature is copying something else; see below). It doesn't copy whether that creature was tapped or untapped, whether it had any counters on it or Auras or Equipment attached to it, or any non-copy effects that had changed its power, toughness, types, color, or so on.
  • The token copies the creature as it last existed on the battlefield before it died, not as it existed in the graveyard before it was exiled.
