"Find me cards equivalent to: Vicious Rivalry"

Cards equivalent to Vicious Rivalry (Sorcery, Black/Green, destroys creatures/artifacts, X-based) are:
1. Bane of Progress (Green, destroys all artifacts and enchantments, not X-based, but similar mass destruction in G).
2. Toxic Deluge (Black, Sorcery, pay X life, gives -X/-X to all creatures—very similar mechanism.)
3. Damnation (Black, Sorcery, destroy all creatures—does not scale with X.)

Reason: There are no existing MTG cards with the exact text, but Toxic Deluge is the closest functional equivalent for creatures with an X-life payment. For both artifacts and creatures, you must combine effects in this color pair.

    Rules

  • Bane of Progress's ability destroys all artifacts and enchantments, including those you control.
  • If an artifact or enchantment isn't destroyed (perhaps because it has indestructible or it regenerated), it won't count toward the number of +1/+1 counters put on Bane of Progress. However, if an artifact or enchantment is destroyed but doesn't go to its owner's graveyard due to a replacement effect (like the one Rest in Peace creates), it will count.

    Rules

  • All creatures on the battlefield when Toxic Deluge resolves are affected. Ones that enter the battlefield or become creatures later in the turn are not.
  • If you cast Toxic Deluge without paying its mana cost, you'll still choose a value for X and pay X life. This is because it doesn't have {X} in its mana cost.
